he used marada(spell) to try and get the cells from the first so the renn can b made
he wanted naugto(spell) to bring marada back to life bc at that time he was the only one with the power to bring back his body from the moon
he needs all nine tailed beast to give him his power back and tobi is the mind of the ten tails
he is not so6p nor the 1st
he could b the older son but I don't think so

so if marada (r however u spell it) got those eyes right b4 he died he won't have time to read it (remember he left the clan so on his death bed he couldn't jus roll over and read it) BUT if tobi is the ten tails he knows all about it bc he was inside of the so6p the whole time

let me break it down
so6p that bad a** split the ten tails up (idk if it's bc it will come back if he killed it r mayb he couldn't kill it r jus didn't want to before his death) but he split the power into nine beast
sender the body of the ten tails to the moon
and left his soul in naruto world to say "those u wanted to kill u now must live among them"
