to the OP: madara can beat tobi, tobi once said that luckily for him itachi didn't know everything about him, he said if he did "I'd be dead".

now madara who not only has the rinnegan but also wood release, add this with the possibility that he knows everything about tobi, and he has a chance of beating him.

Tobi has S/T, All path abilities he has rinnegan too. He has five improved jinchurikis at his use. He can't control the Bijuus if theyre in the host. Tobi is taking on the best Jinchuurikis since the Sage + Kakashi and Gai(lol).

he is facing 4 and 2 just showed up and are not fully controlled since one of them tried to attack him.....madara was leader of uchiha clan and why was did he call himself madara if he was stronger?!?!?!? and wood release can tame the jichurikis....
