Tobi does not have MS

Tobi has always, throughout the Manga, only showed a regular Sharingan. He has never shown any of the MS techs such as Susanoo, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi (or any other Genjutsu tech.) Also to those who will counter by saying that he has never had any use to Susanoo due to his Space-Time jutsu, well he never used or even attemted it when:

1) Konan used her paper bombs in to defeat Tobi (he never actually attempted and Susanoo is known to be the perfect defence)

2) When he was fighting the 4th Hokage, Minato. Also to anyone who will say that MS is needed to control the Kyuubi, well Uchihas were feared for this prowess because they could do it. But nowhere was it mentioned it actually needed an MS. And the space-time ninjutsu is not exactly an Uchiha prowess either. So I should think that Tobi bieng either Kagami, Izuna or the elder son of the Sage is completely moot.

What I propose:
Tobi is a creation of the Sage or Madara (Creation of All Things) thus referring to himself as bieng "nothing"
That would also explain how he had the Rinnegan and somehow "gave" it to Nagato in his youth. It would also explain how he had extensive knowledge of the history of the Uchiha and Senju clans. It might also explain (in case of him bieng Madara's creation) the preference of his weapon.

link where he said that please. I dont recall him saying that, plus Sasuke was able to suppress the ninetails within Naruto with a 3 tomoe, I know thats not the same as full control, but it did prove that a normal sharingan could tame it with the proper hands.

tobi did not use MS, this does not imply anything. There are still many possibilities.
May be he is just very powerful that he is just toying with others with normal sharingan and concealing MS(unlikely).
May be there are no close relations for him with anybody.
May be he is not an uchiha.

I kinda agree with he was created with madara more )... He's connected with zetzu I can bet my fingers on that.. bicouse when konan blasted his arm it was white setsu thing leaking out of his arm.. I bet when madara got hashiramas dna, he created zetsu and him..

I cannot find the link but when they showed tobi controlling the Kyuubi they showed both, the Kyuubi's and Tobi's eyes with just a 3 Tomoe Sharingan.

I'd go so far as to say He may be an Uzumaki...
3 clans have direct lineage to the Sage...
1 Uchiha remains ... 2 Uzumaki that we know of .. and 1 know Senju ..
Each of these clans I am sure had their own Ancient secrets (Uchiha tablet)..

So he should be from 1 of the 3 clans .. Doesn't mean he's an Uchiha... just cause he has an eye doesn't make him so..

I'm just thinking that he must have some pretty powerful seals to easily bind Biju chakara the way he has..

Also when Madara was talking to Kabuto about "His" plan .. That doesn't mean he was talking about Tobi either...
Kabuto said he was "His" assistant, 1 cell later, Talks about "IF the fake Madara follows the plan" .. to me that says they weren't talking about Tobi..

Who would Kabuto be an assistant to, who Madara would also know?

Well this is complete speculation, but "Him" may have something to do with Kabuto's SM ... Oro is dead (or unable to take Kabuto over now) so shouldn't be him...

Tobirama was supposed to be the one that suggested the Uchiha take the role of the police in Konoha .. Not much is known, But maybe he had an Uchiha wife... and Tobi is their son... :flaw: ya, im smacking myself... lol
