No, Kakashi sent a clone of Naruto to the other dimension where Tobi was at. Tobi was unable to do anything because he was currently intangible in the dimension where Kakashi and Gai were and using any ninjutsu would force him to become tangible. If he were to become tangible, he would of got hit by that big ass TBB.

Well with that logic Kakashi could of left Naruto's clone in Tobi's dimension to hit him when Tobi turn intangible in Kakashi and Gai's dimension. Could of ended the chapter sooner.
