Obito Said that his other eye is crushed I guess he knew it pretty well since it was him that was under that rock but I can accept it but it still doesn’t mean that Tobi is Obito. Not to be a preacher or anything, but I’d definitely reocmmend against assuming the logical. I can Imagine Kishimoto throwing a few twists out there since Zetsu and his origins are still somewhat of a mystery too.

TeamSeven’s post actually had me thinking about something about the MS. Or rather someone else – Rin. Her death and disappearance were extremely vague. Kakashi mentions regret over her and not being able to protect her, etc. But from what? When? Could it have been that she actually faked her death or something? Maybe she left the village? Because we don’t know what exactly it was that triggered Kakashi’s MS to awaken. Also, we have yet to see ‘Tobi” actually use the MS, let alone one in his right eye. Part II, Tobi shows up… not long after Kakashi shows that he has the MS. Not saying he’s Obito or anything (his personality seems vastly different & Tobi’s really a murderer), just saying that it’s possible some weird $h!t could’ve happened with a variety of different characters.

I am sure that Kakashi awaken his Mangekyou sharingan because he couldn't protect Rin. I am sure Rin is alive and revived Obito from under that rock.

I believe Rin is the mastermind about all this.

If anything I say that Tobi is using Obito's body through the Zetsu's parts he contains. Nothing more, nothing less.

No, Kakashi did not awaken his mangekyou sharingan that time, that's a long story.

Kakashi witnessed Obito's moment of death with the sharingan already transplanted. So I guess that was the moment in which the MS was unlocked for him (right after getting the eye, might sound weird but I think it makes sense), although he only started using it after the time skip (maybe because he either didn't know about the existance of such thing as a MS until Itachi used it on him, or just didn't know how to activate it - as shown in the Gaara's Rescue Arc, Kakashi needed a weird hand seal, and loads of time ). That's what I think about Kakashi's MS unlock moment.
About Rin, well, I'll give it to you that what happened to her is way too much in the dark. And I'd think that the anime fillers we had before and after the Sasuke Kage Summit arc would eventually cover that (some of them were Kakashi related). Probably she is indeed coming into play in the near future, and Kishi didn't want the anime to cover that (assuming he owns the manga, but has some kind of control over what comes off in anime and what doesn't).
Personally, I'm very inclined to think that she DOESN'T have anything to do with Tobi or Akatsuki or w/e, and she is just dead (that would bring the question though, why wasn't she brought back by Edo Tensei, as Kabuto did admit that some Edos were not necessairily for combat prowess, but to cause mental conflict), BUT I wouldn't rule it out, simply because when it comes to her, regardless if she will ever appear again or not, there's too many questions and no answers on either end.
