Remember when everybody was shocked/sad/mad/petrified/butthurt in chapter 600 when Obito was revealed to be Tobi?

To be honest I think it turned out pretty well. I too hated it at the time, I think I was hoping for a carcass of the Old madara or something. But I liked seeing Obito's progression thus far and he really grew on me as a character bar Rin flashbacks.

For the record: Obito is the strongest Uchiha hands down

I wanted his personality as Tobi to be explained before he died. I wanted a lot of things to be expanded on before he died but it looks like that's not going to happen anymore.

Funny. Back then, I had no problem with tobi being obito. No problem at all.

But then, obito started to talk about rin. And then, EVERYTHING was about rin. Rin this, rin that. That annoyed me.

So the way I see it is that it could've been a good choice, but it kept getting worse and worse to the point that I wished obito had died from that rock.

It really was a good choice as Obito being Tobi has an effect on everyone. Obito was Minato's subordinate, being Kakashi's and Gai's classmate, and being an Uchiha like Sasuke. I did not mind the fact that Obito kept bringing up Rin even though other people hated it and got quickly annoyed by it

The problem wasnt rin being brought up. It was seemingly every single chapter with obito having any signifigant diologue seemed to have a flashback to rin. It was the same flashbacks, again and again.

It was just to many flashbacks. It wouldve been less annoying if it had been flashbacks of different things.

I thought it was a great choice, and the only one that really made sense.

Obito overall is a well written character imo. I will miss him.

This was a theory....

Bleh.
Same, he was my favorite character. To be honest, him getting TNJ'd really wasn't that bad because I would rather have him as a good guy than bad.

yeah...though Obito kept trying to ''test'' naruto to see if he wanted to give up or not. i think he started to regret his actions early on when he and madara were controlling the ten tails

tobi questioning narutos promises and reality is great for someone like naruto who is all talk. those who are entrusted and the ones who entrust for tobi was it being trash. that dreams and wishes cant always come true and lifes not always peachy. its true.
in the end obito was the one who entrusts, but we'lll see if naruto can keep that promise or not.
we know rin is okay with obito failing because he tried.
