Tobi Anticipated The Attack?

So, here we see that Tobi says that Kakashi and Gai waited for the exact moment he solidified to grab Naruto to attack. But if you look at the top, you can see that Gai's foot is through Tobi's mask, and Tobi's hand is literally inside Naruto's head. So here we can see that Tobi anticipated the attack (probably because of his path's shared vision), and never solidified. He completely bluffed against Naruto.

Now, onto the point of this thread. I was talking with a friend about how I thought their entrance should've been. I thought Kakashi should've kept Zabuza's sword, and decapitated Tobi when he solidified. But as we see, he never did, which makes it a good thing he left the sword, because that thing's heavy and would just slow him down. We also speculated that Gai already had his aura and his hair was messed a little, so you you can tell he's already in a gate. Now we can anticipate the 8th Gate soon, and my friend and I think that after Gai finishes with the 8th Gate, Kakashi will Kamui him out of there.

So really, there's no point, just speculation. What do you all think of the most recent chapter?

well, there's nothing much else to agree on. other than the fact it was good for Kakashi to leave the sword, and that we will see Gate action soon.

I think Kakashi still has Zabuza's sword. He probably put it into a scroll, like ten ten does with her tools. So if Kakashi ever needed it he could summon it

Well Might Guy is definitely using a gate. Between 1 and 3 I would think. Based on his composed face without the redness or alterations to his eyes. Tobi's Rinnegan link is likely a reason why he 'dodged' (if that's an appropriate term) the attack.

You have to remember that he has speed comparible to Minato, so we can assume (to a reasonable degree) that he will have reflexes and speed of thought comparible to Minato.

It was more in reference to his space time ninjutsu, opposed to his physical speed. He done very well against Minato, things didn't go exactly to his plan, evidently. If you understand? Just to clarify, I said 'assume'. So there is a large element of guesswork at the moment. Hence, I was asking for people's opinion's on the matter.

I think his shared vision allowed him to see Kakashi and Gai, but still did the whole bluff instead of changing at the last second.
