it may sound weird at first but with all villains that have an identity crisis we just don't know who they are.
they all sounded like guys but they can be using woman bodies
it happened to all three of the biggest villains so far.
1.orochimaru(the one that challeged the the hidden leaf village)
when he was first shown in a serious battle like the other two and they want to reveal why orochimaru hasn't been aging they found out that he was a woman.
2. nagato(the one that challege the hidden leaf village)
when we were trying to figure out who nagato was or who was the one with the rinnegan he was using a womans body when he was in a serious battle when he fought in konoha.
3.tobi(the one that challeged the hidden leaf and the rest of the world)
for all we know tobi may sound like a dude but it could just be a jutsu he is using to mimick his voice maybe what's underneath the mask could be a woman because this is tobi most serious battle so maybe there is a chance like the other big villains that challeged other nations.
dont you see the trend of the two most powerful enemies of the hidden leaf orochimaru/nagato where actually having woman persona on them, so maybe tobi would also have a woman identity with him as well it seems like a trend.
reasons why rin could be tobi body, rin found out that obito loved her this hurts her and she knew kakashi didn't treat her right like obito did himself,we all know that rin died so that kakashi can unlock his mangeyou sharingan.
the question is how did rin die well tobi killed her so that he can take kakashi ms and use rin body to fool kakashi because obito mangekyou sharingan is already powerful but with two mangekyou sharingan's kamui would be off the charts so tobi is rin to fool kakashi so that tobi can take the mangekyou sharingan.
also if tobi is using rin body how can he have fought with the fourth hokage well it is simple he took rin's body when kakashi found out when she was dead tobi was using a different body at that time(tobi is like a zetsu clone can replace limbs)
so would you be surprise if tobi was using rin's body or any woman body?
