I yet again take a deep breathe calming my nerves and try to stop the throbbing in my head. After a few deep breathes I push on my thumb causing more blood to drip out. After I've got a good amount of blood I perform the five required hand seals. As soon as I finish the hand seals I slam my hands onto the ground. As my hand makes contact with the ground I apply an tremendous amount of chakra. At the same time I picture in my minds eye a giant toad that not only dwarfs everything around it but could shape the land with its attacks.

This toad seems to be the keeper of the Toad Summoning contract scroll and unlike every other toad ever seen, Gamachu has not yet been seen talking, only quaking once or twice and mainly in the anime. In terms of appearance, the kanji on the necklace around his neck means "friendship," perhaps alluding to the fact that Jiraiya summons him in more relaxed situations.
