To what do we owe our capabilities

Are we born talented already or is it true that what Lee says and we could work to achieve great things? Im sure we can spend our lifetimes using his philosophy but some of us should hit reality and say "Hey im really not cut out to be a soldier" or lawyer or craftsmen. Its true some of us just dont have it in us to be just whatever we want. Sometimes a job as a Peace Pipes mgr is good enough lol or whatever is easy for you. I want to know, why is that? What other factor besides surrender caused us to take an easy route? Were we meant to be like that or was it an environmental factor? Your thoughts. . . . .

you have to work hard at the thing you want to become, some people may start off better in the beginning but with hard work and determination you will surpass them.

i think we will born talented and i believe indeed that if somebody works hard the one talented will achieve with the same effort greater results but the other one will be very good too... well at least everybody is talented in something imo

i think it`s both.but working hard never fails,so IMO hard work beats everything

1. Being a soldier isn't something you need talent for. You just have to be tough and toughness is earned not given.
2. Some people are naturally talented and predisposed towards success at certain things. If you're seven feet tall odds are you will be better at basketball than someone who's 5'9". If you're born with an IQ of 170 youre probably going to score higher at tests than most people.
3. Without practicing or honing these talents you may as well not have them. If youre seven foot but don't show up to basketball practice the guy who's 5'9" will break your ankles in the paint. If your IQ is 170 and you don't study the moron in class next to you who studies for three hours a night is going to test higher.

You can achieve anything you set your mind on. As long as you have the believe and the determination. Just look for example at people like Gandhi and this one admirable man called Pablo Pineda who although having the syndrome of down has been able to achieve two universital majors and has even become an actor.
