The only reason they were considered stronger was because of the Head of their clan who was the most powerful Shinobi of his time, he is the only immensely powerful ninja from the Senju clan...

Obito is a non-factor, considering he is literatly half senju (white zetsu)

The thing is, we don't know much about the senjus either, they must have a lot of other exceptional shinobies.
Based on the flashback, Hashi is always fighting Madara so he probably didn't have time to fight the other Uchihahs. Yet over time the Uchihhas continue to surrender, because the rest is being push by the Senjus .

Kotoamatsukami is a Genjutsu that affects a person below the conscious level... It's completely undetectable unless by another Dojutsu. Once you're hit, you're hit. No way out of it, plus your conscious mind believes that the decision you make under the Genjutsu is yours alone. Sooooo.... Kotoamatsukami truly Solo's any and ALL characters.

Note: Do NOT classify Genjutsu used under the Mangekyou Sharingan as just regular Genjutsu. The affects of Mangekyou Sharingan Genjutsu completely distorts all perceptions making it EXTREMELY OP.

Kishi said they were EQUAL clans.....

Only reason Uchiha gave up was because of too much bloodshed, otherwise there'd barely be a handful of both Uchiha and Senju. A ceasefire was the only way things would be resolved.


You would have to be utterly stupid to continue a war where both sides are losing with no real signs of a victory at hand.
