Lol, hair being similar = descendants of Kaguya.

But in all seriousness, I suppose it's possible. What difference would it make though? The Kaguya clan is completely wiped out and Kimimaro died forever ago. What would it matter even if he was? They're gone.

Yeah but that doesn't mean they aren't relevant. S06P was long gone but relevant (Please dont take this seriously just an example). Thing is the name Kaguya is the main point here and the hair is just supporting it. You made it out the other way round. :)

Indra has markings as well.
Does that mean he is related to the Kaguya clan as well?!

Bone release was extremely rare among kimmimaro clan. it was basically like wood release extremely rare even among clan members.

I understand. But the horns retracting inside is more of a genetic change over time. Thus its plausible that bone release is a rare mutation in a mutaion.

I believe he Kaguya clan to start from one of the children from Hagoromo's brother.
The link in my sig explains it.
They could inherit some of Kaguya's powers too of course, but it is said she only had 2 children, so
the clan has to come from somewhere. I would say from the children of Hagoromo's brother.
Kimimaro can heal like crazy too (without seals), something that would increase my believe
in that the clan came from children of Hagoromo's brother, who I believe to have Uzumaki and Juugo clan children too.

The fact that Kaguya just had two sons and Hagoromo didn't start Kaguya clan basically gives a 90% confirmation that it was his brother who must have started it. Lets see what happens. :)

Yah, they look similar, probably a relation.

I still personally can't get behind threads like these, "the sage was an uzumaki, the byakugan came from the sages brother, blah blah blah"

Its fun to speculate these things, but it just sucks cause there is a slim to none chance that we get conformation on any of these relations.

I get where you come from but please note, this isn't based on similar appearances. This is based on the Name. The similar appearances only support the speculation. :)

Don't be so sure, I was pushing Naruto as the Younger Son since I made this account on the base. For awhile, I was starting to think it was a forgotten background topic almost for Kishi, and then confirmation out of nowhere Lol

To the OP, I think this is a fine theory. I just want to know what relevance you think it holds for the story. Don't let people get you down about it =D I think this is a real relation and quite likely given the facts.

The fact that two people on the battlefield, Juugo and Orochimaru, might know something if Kaguya becomes a relevant character through their relationship with Kimmimaro, leaves much to speculate on roles in the finale.

Thank you for the appreciation and rep. As per your question, I somehow have reason to believe Orochimaru has a bigger role. Kishi has foreshadowed this with Juugo's paranoid questions in the last few chapters. I think Orochimaru is nothing but the reincarnation of Kaguya. Many people might say that Kaguya was female and stuff like that but weren't we introduced to Orochimaru when he was female (Chuunin exams) later he was portrayed as a morphing demon, that's it. I think Kaguya reincarnated into Orochimaru and tried to acquire her original self i.e. her body (Kaguya clan) or that of her descendants (Uchiha or Senju - His experiments)

Or it may be that it was just Orochimaru trying to obtain her power.

Point being - Orochimaru may attempt to eat the fruit.

But that is pure speculation. :)

Also, Orochimaru claimed the Kaguya clan was ancient and used antiquated war tactics from a time before villages were founded. Seems to fit with the timeline and the teachings of the princess.

Yup, makes sense and fits more into the timeline. They continued the old tactics. Nice catch. :)
