My only real complaint with the art is how much some of the character designs just suck. Like sasuke, wtf is that. Other than that though, every mangaka has a different style and every one takes a bit before they perfect it, go look at one piece, naruto, bleach, or any manga and compare it to recent chapters, it is better nowadays so it just take time.

It caught me off guard at first, but honestly as I read the couple of chapters that released it kind of grew on me. I don't mind it as much anymore.

Unless they come out and say that Hinata got a Ninja Medical breast reduction, & that Sasuke invented the Narutoverse concept of the Hipster/Goth look, I'm going to continue calling the character design crap. Also, the character development & motivation is either weak, cliched, or completely out of line of their previous personalities.

These reasons are the same things that caused people to call Star Wars Episode VII an inferior rip-off of the original trilogy; & what wasn't taken from Episodes IV & V wholesale were blatantly plagiarized from the Expanded Universe novels & games.
