Tsunade is still leagues ahead of Sakura in Medical Ninjutsu though, that was proved when Sakura struggled to keep Shikamaru from dying yet Tsunade healed him properly pretty damn quickly.

(P.S. I haven't thought of Sakura as useless, ever.)

the only thing she did from the start, was healing fodder ninjas, which most of them died a while later, without doing anything useful. the only useful thing she did was helping naruto to recover, which wasn't so critical and important.
