I won't pretend it didn't cross my mind - but before I say more I'll add that I'm not remotely invested in who Sasuke ended up with, I'm happy for Hinata but that's about it.

Could just be that Kishi wanted people to think it could be Karin before the last minute reveal? Maybe.

Undeniable she's Sasuke's, kind of amusing he had a daughter and not a son.

No I don't think the glasses are a result of Sasuke's use of the EMS - I don't see how that would affect his kid, at all.

Possible that she is Karin's kid and that she died?
Yeah - could explain why she seems like an only child. Wouldn't Sasuke have multiple kids by now with Sakura if that wasn't the case? Even Naruto has two.
Would also make me like Sakura more, if it were the case that she had taken on Sasuke's daughter like her own after Karin's death - I can imagine Sasuke bailing in the aftermath.

The glasses - well, it's a trait. Unusual in that not even Sakura's parents wear glasses (neither Fugaku, Mikoto)... of course it could just be an anomaly, but she is a Uchiha so it seems unlikely, seems to me it would be more reasonable if one of her parents wore glasses.

I don't see anything of Sakura in her - physically, personality wise either.

sasuke did notice something in the background... it could have been her, hiding with the abillity of her mother's.
untill (if ever) we learn more about what happened inbetween the last and second last chapter, it is a distinct possibility.
the only proof we have that she is sakura's child is that she called her mother (which an orphan would do too)
to me, personally, it seems like a nice detail kishimoto added. a lose string that is never to be solved, making it unpossible to accurately deduct who's child she is.

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that she is biologically Sakura's or karin's child. Nothing stopping sasuke having a child with karin, then leave her for Sakura and take the child. And then leave them both to go traveling

Its possible that an Uzumaki trait could cause her to have a reduced Uchiha trait. If it was Sakura's kid then her genetics aren't going to be dominant due to her lack of a clan trait. Not to mention the eyesight issues. Your telling me Sasuke's kid has eyesight problems because of Sasuke's genetics? Yeah no....

The glasses and facial mannerisms remind me of Karin. In fact to be honest, I don't see a single facial trait of Sakura at all. I think it would make for great story telling for the upcoming series next year.

I'm placing my bet that it's Karin's daughter. It would continue the curse of Uzumaki mothers dying during childbirth. Kishi and dem parallels yo!

I'll take Uchiha+Uzumaki bloodline over Uchiha+Haruno any ole' day of the week!

Sakura saved her life and Karin sensed her love for Sasuke, sorry but imo this is not a coincidence these 2 girls met and shared some stuff.

I mean... are you guys serious? Is it only because she wars "glasses"? Can you really say that even when Salad evidently has more Sakura's hairstyle than Karin? Did you consider that Salad could have optical problem due Sasuke/Itachi's excesive use of MS?

I mean, okay, let's think about it a bit... Let's think about the case of Salad being Karin's daughter. Where is the Uzumaki trait in the kid? Nowhere. The most logical thing to assume is that she is Sakura's offspring only because that's what the chapter suggests.

Glasses is a trivial thing, anybody could use glasses. That girl didn't even get red hair...

Sasuke was a successor of Indra, obtained MS and proceeded to EMS, gained Hashiramas cells, blessings from Hagoromo and unlocked the eye of the Juubi.

No matter how you toss it up, this could should have 51/50 optical vision and one of the 3 strongest, healthiest bodies on earth along with Narutos kids.

Do you even read this manga. We're not talking about real life here. It's exactly the same as Naruto, who never even knew his mother picking up her habit of ending her sentences with a nonsensical catchphrase.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be nice if she were Karin's daughter - for the sake of the plot?

No, I'm not killing/denying any (later) SasuSaku - foster mother or mother/wife, either way works for me.

But I think it would be interesting if it wasn't such a clean cut family formation. If there was some history, backstory, angsty drama - something other than what appears to be a J.K Rowling style epilogue.

Would be kind of boring (and a break from tradition) if Sasuke just knocked up Sakura and she what, became a housewife? How dull.

I don't think her eye-shape is like Sakura's, at all. Especially when you look at Sakura when she was a kid - they were ****ing huge, Salad's not so much.
The forehead - it's a bit meh to me. Not huge, but the hair is different - reminds me of Kushina's parting.

Uzuamki - example would be Naruto who has no red hair, no chakra chains, no typical Uzumaki traits that can't otherwise be attributed to being the Jinchuriki of Kurama.

Haruno - granted they only had one kid but that kid got the pink hair (father's) over blonde (mother). I still can't imagine Sasuke willingly breeding with someone with the potential to pass on PINK HAIR. Bit yeah, go figure .
