Nah in terms of situations, sasuke/itachi's is the worst. Its just that Obito made his seem worse than it was - he's a ***** really.

Itachi, obviously. Followed by Madara. His entire immediate family died in battle over the course of his life, only for his clan to turn on him when he was trying to protect them.

Sasuke; watched his most precious person kill everyone he loved. killed him only to realize that Itachi considered Sasuke his most precious person. Then Sasuke went mad. never have I felt more sympathy for a character. loses himself in the darkness.
Madara: thinks Hashirama betrayed him, saw his brother die, and he believes his clan betrayed him loses himself in the darkness.
Obito: Rin, loses himself in the darkness.
