You are being forced to look after a twelve year old kid for two weeks. The child is dying of a disease and at the end of that two weeks he will be dead.

You can save him though, but only by sacrificing 15 years of your own life span.

Would you save this poor child :pwease:

The child knows you can save him, but won't hold it against you no matter what you decide

If we go by the rules of nature, I wouldn't.
"Survival of the fittest"

But as I'm a really kind person and already old I wouldn't lose anything at this point, so yes T_T

Reiterate: By "save" him I assume he has some kind of disease. Would that disease be cured after said person sacrificed 15 years?

Context is important here.

How does this work? If i would die from an accident, would the same accident happen 15 years earlier?

How can i be guaranteed he wont die on day 15 if i make the sacrifice?

Nah it only cuts down your natural life span and all you know you are saving the child from the ailment. He could die the next day from something else for all u know

I would let nature take its course.

There is no guarantee I would even live 15 more years, it is pointless.

So the pro here is that you get to save a little kids life (presumably someone you don't know, judging from how you worded it.

The con here is that if you are older, you didn't even have 15 years left to give, you could die relatively soon after that. To add insult to injury, the kid could also die from another complication brought on after the initial disease was cured.

"You are being forced to look after a twelve year old kid for two weeks. The child is dying of a disease and at the end of that two weeks he will be dead."

You make it seem like the both of you are captured in a dungeon or something.

No risk of complications

I would need to know the details regarding my Natural lifespan before a decision can be made.

Well most people who die in my family of ol age pull it off in an average of 95. I don't mind dying when I'm 80. Sure.
AS LONG AS THAT CHILD PUTS GOOD USE TO HIS/HER LIFE AND LIVES A FULL ONE!
