Sasuke is better developed and Realistic character . Naruto's Character is like a main Protagonist of a story in a novel .
More realistic?
How does a guy who takes revenge on a village and blames them for killing his brother when he was the one who killed Itachi realistic?
How is a guy who thinks peace can be achieved by hate realistic?
How is a guy who calls a person who traumatically scarred him for life the "perfect guy" realistic?

I think he is a good character because he is complete in his development and background. We know the story of his clan, we know how he turned out the way he did, the reason he took his decisions and the reason he chose his path to break all bonds. I like Sasuke because he is complex. He has a stoic, dark, observant nature and at the same time he is one of the most emotional characters of the series. Also, I usually like the antagonists and he is in fact an antagonist of Naruto who, after so many turn of events tries to understand the reality he is in, tries to understand his role and who he is. Despite his atitudes, he still wanted peace (with a more realistic vision) and he still cared for his comrades be it team 7 or team taka. It's a character who went through a turmoil of emotions. :p

Mainly because the unpredictable nature of his actions drive the plot in a massive way. So it's not just his actions in their singularity, but the massive impact it has on other characters. That's what really matters at the end of the day, since the quality of the manga is essentially the sum of all the characters interwi interwining with each other.

Because everything he does and every change he makes have sense behind it, there is always a reason. Maybe his last one (698-699) wasn't that good since Kishimoto admitted he rushed it, but he is still one of the best characters. Waiting for mah boy shelke to write a huge wall of text to expand on this.

First Tell me how is Naruto a better character than Sasuke .

Sasuke represents Multi faced Personality of a human being . Revange ,love , Tragedy ,Manipulation that Humans are .

Trying to be a God in a world where he felt World never be one . Sasuke has a better knowledge of how World Works . Naruto Doesn't

Sasuke was great character before Itachi's death. After this Sasuke became very silly, unrealistic and shity character.

He barely influenced on main plot.

He didn't learn anythyng from the past and his own experience.

More realistic because Naruto's concept of peace is utopical. It's impossible to achieve true peace due to human nature itself. He is right in sharing the pain with others and understand each other in order to endure and avoid engaging in revenge and hatred but despite all that our society is a mix of values, concepts, religions, stereotypes and even though empathy describes human beings, Sasuke is more realistic because he knows you can't completely erase hatred so he wanted to try and focus it all in himself and avoid more conflicts by doing that.

After knowing the truth about Itachi, he realises that all his life has been a lie and so he enters a state of confusion and denial and he needs someone to blame for all that. Even in real life that can happen and people who go through a turmoil of traumatizing emotions end up messed up from all that.

Itachi is far from being perfect but Sasuke understood why he did what he did and understood he had no better option. He admired his brother since early age and realised that indeed his brother did love him with all his heart and only wanted him to grow with a purpose in life.

that's just my opinion
