i'm sure your all familiar with the phrase "it's better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all"

well i personally think that's BS... there are quite a few girls i wish i never loved cause they turned out to be big sluts :|

so what do you guy's think about that phrase?

Depends on what your definition of love is. If its *** then id rather not catch an STD and die / risk becoming impotent or whatever. If love means unconditional love then I guess I would say it would always be worth to experience a selfless feeling. If there's attachment lumped in with the definition of love (which there almost always is) then its complicated. Is all the hurt and pain and anger worth it after it all goes pear shaped? Not IMHO, but others may disagree...
