I think there is going to be another time skip sometime soon. The reason is because Cracker is edging Luffy out and he himself isn't even in the top 20 in One Piece. There are still 4 Yonko, 4 Admirals,Dragon and Sabo and many others who Cracker can't beat.

doesn't need to be a timeskip every time luffy fails to easily win a fight. more likely, cracker is just here to establish how strong the yonko commanders are, so that when luffy starts curbstomping the next its more badass.

Like what happened with; Mr 3, Satori, Blueno, Monet and Giola.

This is just a wake up call for all the people who were making threads about Luffy and Zoro being Yonkou level fairly soon. And all the VS threads against people out of his league.

It might be time to accept that Luffy will never be as strong as a yonkou individually like Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaidou. Right now he shouldn't even be in their shadows.

Luffy's power is his potential to sway people and never dying will. But that isn't going to do him any good against a yonkou crew.

Before someone replies with the argument "but Luffy is going to be pirate king bruh". That is true but you're pirate king when you reach raftel not when you have the biggest biceps in the world.

So I think from this point on One Piece will be a different kind of manga, where a lot of the enemies are equal and stronger than Luffy is. It will be a clash of alliances to get what you want.

No timeskip needed. Luffy is ready!!!

When we take this into context its pretty obvious: Currently Luffy is showing that he is able to contend with Yonko executives, that puts him near or at the level of Jozu, Vista, Jack, and Marco.. Currently luffy is LEAGUES ahead of where he was Pre-Timeskip. And we all know luffy has far more techniques, forms (gears), and Haki mastery to show us. I definitely think his match with big mom will show he is ready.

I think the problem is EVERYBODY wants Luffy to be OverPowered by the EOS, but dont forget that even Roger (Pirate King) in his prime was rivaled by Garp and Whitebeard. The rest of the OP story will show luffy's power continue to unfold and develop, there is no more need for another timeskip.

He is suppose to struggle against enemies.
That is what makes the OP story so epic

EOS after war is over.luffy disbands crew and everyone will excel in their dreams.there will be a time skip of 10 or more years then they regroup and start of another adventure.That will be an epic ending

How many times would Oda do timeskips?? Rayleigh pretty much taught him everything in 18 months.. Now all that remains is Luffy's sheer power.. Now he needs to get his priority straight without timeskip..

U underestimate Luffy in my opinion.
He is fighting an executive atm, these are guys who can tangle with admirals, albeit not win. They belong in the same category as Vista,Jozu,Doflamingo etc.
Right now Luffy has trouble getting around the devil fruit of Cracker but once again g4 is seen making shortwork of Crackers clones.
This is a difficult oponent for him. I'm even inclined to say Luffy would most likely fare better against Jack.
Cracker got 1 sneak attack hit, when everyone expected he was down.
