Senju clan is so random though, they seem to have no meaning even with an unfolded story & the uchiha survived longer than them.

Sweeeeeeet. I voted for the senjus for the following reasons

• They aren't bat-sh!t crazy characters that continuously play the woe-is-me-my-life-is-so-terrible card
• They have more honour, defecting to the senju just because your clans weaker shows no loyalty
• They have better morals, aiming to protect the village and those within it (uchiha didn't help in the kyuubi attack)
• They have more personality and are less 1-dimensional
• Senju are willing to recognise the potential and power in other people, whilst Uchiha just have a superiority complex and then when they realise they are inferior they plan a coup or scurry off to orochimaru, or steal hashi power so they can hide in a cave

This is my opinions but are mostly generalisations since I genuinely like Obito as a character.
