Author's note: Sorry this chapter took so long but I've had school priorities.
Kakashi and Yamato leapt onto the Interrogation Room roof.
Kakashi: Another attack? It must be that criminal!
Yamato: We have to go stop him.
Over at the Hokage Faces, Idara was sitting on the Second's head. He took a small bomb out of a pouch on his waist. He tossed it at a building. Someone caught it.
Idara: Hm?
The person tossed it back at Idara. Idara jumped over to the Fourth's head. The bomb blew just over the Second's head.
???: Guy-sensei, can't you be careful?
???: Tenten's right.
The man looked at his welcoming party, Team Guy.
Guy: I don't know where you come off attacking our village.
Idara: Guy, eh? You must be that ninja who's always lecturing people about "youth" when you yourself are getting old.
Lee: How dare you talk to Guy-sensei like that?
Neji: Enough of this. We should take him out right now.
Tenten: Finally, some reason.
She took out her scroll as Neji took his 8 Trigrams stance.
Idara: Really? You wanna take me on?
Lee vanished. He appeared just over Idara. He came down with a kick. Idara blocked with his arm.
Idara: You're very fast, and you're kick was actually very powerful. You must be Konoha's Rock Lee.
Lee(landing next to Team Guy): How does he know who I am?
Idara: And the other two must be Neji and Tenten.
Tenten launched a barrage of weapons at Idara. He jumped and dodged away from them. Lee appeared in front of him and kicked him in the jaw. Idara flew back, but landed on the First's head.
Idara(wiping blood from his mouth): You guys are really good, but my beef isn't with you. It's Kakashi I want.
Guy: Kakashi? Now I really want to mess you up, with my power of Youth!
Guy launched himself at Idara. He stuck his foot forward.
Guy: Dynamic Entry!
Idara: Hercules!
Idara grabbed Guy's foot and tossed him into Lee, who was also charging at him. Then, he lunged at Tenten with a flying fist. Neji jumped in front of Tenten and began spinning.
Neji: Rotation!
Neji repelled Idara into Tsunade's face.
Neji: Honestly, I don't know what the big fuss was about.
Idara jumped on top of Tsunade's head.
Idara: You guys are something else! But I've got an idea, how about I finish this, then I put up my barrier?
He tightened his fist.
Idara: Thor!
He shot a huge bolt of lightning at Neji and Tenten. Neji blocked again with Rotation.
Neji: This jerk never learns.
After the lightning and Rotation faded, Idara shot up in front of Neji and punched him in the face. Neji went flying into a building. He began to walk closer to Tenten. Tenten opened her scroll and jumped into the air. It stretched out and formed a "tornado" around Idara.
Tenten: You think I'm weak cause I'm a girl? You're mistake, I guess.
A barrage of kunai and shuriken blasted from at Idara.
Idara: Well, this is troublesome! Hades!
Purple flames rose up around Idara. The weapons hit the flames and were suspended in midair. Then the fire faded, along with the weapons.
Idara(thinking): Hades' fire is a handy move, but it only works on weapons.
Tenten: What?
Idara rushed over to Tenten, ready to pummel her. Out of nowhere, Lee appeared behind him in Eight Gates Mode. He kicked Idara into the air.
Lee: Now, Neji!
Neji landed next to Lee and shot multiple Sky Palms, keeping Idara in the air. Lee vanished from beside Neji and appeared beside Idara. The bandages around his arms wrapped around Idara.
Lee: Primary Lotus!
He drove Idara into Neji's Rotation. Lee jumped to Tenten's side and came out of Gates Mode. Idara was flung by Neji's Rotation into a house. Idara leapt onto the roof.
Idara: That little combo of yours really hurt. But I've had enough of this foolishness.
Idara closed his eyes. A stream of chakra stretched from the left bulb on his back and went into the air. It expanded into a barrier around Konoha. Then, a second stream of chakra came from the barrier and into the right bulb.
Lee: What is he doing?
Neji activated his Byakugan and gasped.
Neji: I don't what this is, but it's like he's absorbing chakra from the environment!
Lee: The environment?
Guy: He must be absorbing Nature Energy.
Lee: Nature Energy?
Guy: Yes. It's like nature's own chakra. It's used for Naruto and Master Jiraiya's Sage Mode.
Lee: But what is he going to do with it?
Neji: I think he's charging his armor!
Idara: Smart insects! I'm gonna use a move that's gonna wipe you all out!
Suddenly, someone punched Idara into another house.
Naruto: Hey jerk! Why don't you try dealing with me, ya bastard!
Noime, Kakashi and Yamato landed beside him. Naruto rushed towards Idara, who had jumped onto a roof. They began to fight with Taijutsu. Idara punced Naruto back beside Kakashi. Kakashi moved his headband, revealing his Sharingan.
Idara: There it is. That eye will lead to my dictatorship!
Kakashi: I'm sorry, but you'll just end up dying.
He made quick hand signs.
Kakashi: Fire Style! Great Fire Ball Jutsu!
Kakashi launched his attack, but Idara just leapt over it and clasped his hands.
Idara: Thor!
He smashed Kakashi into the ground with his electrified fist. After the smoke cleared, Idara looked down at a shattered log.
Idara: Just as I would expect from the 7th Hokage!
Kakashi appeared behind Idara, Raikiri in hand.
Kakashi: I doubt that will happen!
He drove the Raikiri towards Idara's right bulb. Idara quickly leapt over Kakashi and threw three small knives at him. Naruto jumped in the way and took the knives to the arm.
Kakashi: Thanks, but I had this under control!
Naruto: This is nothing! Just use your Mangekyou!
Kakashi: Right!
Kakashi closed his eyes and focused his chakra. He opened his eye, revealing his Mangekyou.
Kakashi(thinking): I used up some of my chakra against Noime. I've got to make this quick.
Kakashi used Kamui and created a wormhole around his arm. Idara jumped away.
Kakashi: Crap!
Kakashi rushed towards Idara with a kunai in hand. Idara smirked.
Idara: Hades!
An aura of purple fire appeared around his hand. He grabbed Kakashi's kunai and it vanished.
Kakashi: !!!
Idara grabbed Kakashi by the neck and began sucking out his chakra.
Naruto: Kakashi!
Idara slammed Kakashi into the roof. Naruto pulled out a kunai and channeled his chakra into it.
Yamato: That's not gonna work.
Naruto: Fine! Keep him busy! I'm going Sage Mode!
Idara: I'm afraid that's impossible.
Naruto: ?!!
Next time: Idara has the upper hand against the Leaf Shinobi, but Naruto has a plan to beat Idara without Sage Mode.
Chapter 4: Sage Mode: Cancelled?!
