Has anybody every thought of the time period of Naruto. I have seen computers, the explosives had some circuitry in the Anime. With all the Chakra and Feudal Lord Stuff. Its bouncing between the 16th century and 21st Century. Any real time period ?

i literally sat for five minutes trying to figure out your avatar. it's epic. but, yeah, no one really cares what time period they're in; they're in a different reality so the time period doesn't really matter
The Narutoverse is a completely different world than the real world, there are no connections between our era's and theirs =/
It's pointless to try to start to find its timeperiod as it doesn't exist, at least not one that you can relate to our era's.

I would say 1300 BC - 200BC, why? I don't know it;s just the way people look and the strangeness that goes on in Naruto. Like in Ancient Greece with the mythology of creatures and gods. Perhaps it's like a mix of Ancient Greece and our time.

The timeline is this - BeforeSealing and AfterSealing, it seperates the times of when Naruto existed in the world so we will automatically know if something happened before or after Naruto was BELIEVING IT

They have computers because they probably evolved differently thats why some things look really old timey and then you see headsets on ninja's heads.
I likes a Real time strategy game. Depending on what you chose you have diffrent stuff so we advanced diffrently to the narutoverse but if i had to campare it to i time id say around 1960 cause they had basic computers

i think if you look in you history textbook you can find what time period the Naruto takes place.. or google feudal japan or time period when there were ninjas and samurais..

Don't forget to include the time-travelers that brought back a ton of technology. Like in the last issue, Inoichi is using some computer thing to send signals. Also, they all know about DNA, yet that wasn't understood until the 1950's. It's very anachronistic, but why not. So far, I don't think Kishimoto has abused it, and it's easier to blend with our culture that way I suppose. It'd be boring in a lot of ways otherwise; albeit, it has caused quite the bit of confusion on the forums at times.
