Why doesn't the Base have a tier list. So instead of discuss and making a million threads of. Is Sakura top 200 or is Sauske top 2. Why not making an official tier list where people can discuss where people should be place instead of copying and pasting the same threads 100 times.​

When I said official I never meant Kishi official. I meant it will be the official one on the Base nobody can makes another one. I doubt Kishi would make Itachi fans sad he praised Itachi a shit load through out the show. I wouldn't be supervised if Kishi said Itachi it top 5 >_>.​

OT: There's no such thing as a 'correct' tier list, that's why.
A tier list is made according to one's opinion and assessment of a character's overall battle prowess, therefore its not right or wrong and its impossible to make an 'official' or 'standard' tier list.

I say its pointless because it doesn't contribute one bit for the manga's overall development due to being something so trivial, not to mmention the time it would take.
There're hundreds of match-ups possible, besides, we all know that feats come along with battles and only matter to determine who wins against who in vs sections (ex: By feats, Hiruzen gets destroyed by Gaara, but realistically he would never get stomped and would most likely be victorious due to how he was portrayed in the manga).
Not to mention the vs section would lose its meaning because everyone would follow the official list made by the author. Don't you think its much more fun to leave these subjects open for discussion and opinion? :>

We can make an official list here on Narutobase, that is based solely on the majorities opinions. It ain't gonna be "officially official" nobody here is Kishimoto. We would have to give everyone the right to say why they believe a character should be where they are. Probably have each group of fans make a thread explaining everything their character is capable of. Having nothing but fans of that character post in that thread until they all have gotten everything out. Then have everyone else either disagree or agree with where they think that character should go. Do this until we all come to an agreement on a top 10. After if someone wants to change the list they must present a argument which we all agree to. This will more than likely take a while.

I have my own list which works, an "official" tier list would simply end in a popularity contest.
