Basic Information

Looks: Tia Dalma is a very bohemian and peculiar character, with a chocolate brown skin masked by the accumulated layers of dirt. She has darker marks framing her eyes and long dreads of dark brown hair with randomly placed breads and adornments. She wears loose clothing, ripped and thorned, revealing her wealthy family origins, before she ran away. She holds several scrolls, for both fighting and medical purposes. She is able to summon any weapon or medical tool with the scrolls. She has a tattoo, on her forearm, with a seal to quickly summon Box Jellyfishes or Parrots. She is usually accompanied by Victoria Régia, a beautiful blue macaw.

Personality: Tia Dalma's personality is flirty and playful (according to the legend, Calypso was something of a seductress), and she likes talking in riddles, perhaps so others could solve them. She speaks with a thick West Indian accent, and all her "th"'s come out as "d"'s. Her language is Jamaican Patois, so she often uses grammatically West African syntactical phrases, such as, "him carve out him heart".
Upon loosing her mental faculties, and being overpowered by her inner demon Lilith, she became much colder and psychotic. Over a course of time, she became meticulous and apathetic, showing emotions not because she feels them, but because she can use them for others to do her biding. She holds no love for anyone, including her allies, making her, in essence, less than human.
When she suffers physical and psychological strain she has glimpses of her previous personalities. At that point she becomes erratic and unpredictable, until she overcomes them again. Lilith is stronger than her other personalities.

Background Info

History: She was born Calypso Kurama to a wealthy family in the outskirts of Konoha. The Kurama had always been feared throughout the country, and the origins of their power and wealth were irreversibly linked with corruption and theft, or so the whispers said. The scandal ran through the family that her mother was infertile, and that her father had a mistress from the Yamanaka clan. While everyone knew this, the family kept quiet.

Every Kurama is born with an unprecedented affinity with Genjutsu, and are trained to develop their mental skills from a very tender age. But among the Kurama, a few are born with an unknown skill that enhances their genjutsu even further, commonly known as the Blessed Curse of the clan. Calypso was born with said power, and, because of that, was target to even more attention and training than other kids her age. It soon became clear are genjutsu and ninja skills were superior, and so was her intellect, but her heart was not pure. Secretly, she would train with a Yamanaka female sensei from school, but it was clear she had a different relationship with her power. Still, the voices in Calypso head kept triggering her.

Until one day the demon personality inside her woke and drove her mad. Lilith was born She traveled through the forest alone, half mad, unable to control her power until it finally triggered. Calypso Kurama was erased and a new personality aroused. Tia Dalma retained all the genjutsu, intellect and ninja prowess of Calypso, enhanced even further with the touch of madness provided by the demon Lilith. She traveled to the Water Country where she joined Kirigakure, but kept herself in the outskirts, a small shack on a swamp.

After constantly battling with her Inner Demon, she finally succumbed to it. Now Lilith, she became cold and psychotic, holding her humanity through a thread. She is calculative and rational, yet there isn't a single drop of human emotions. She shows them only to make others do her bidding, extremely powerful copies of what she sees around her. The possession of her Demon increased her genjutsu, mind techniques and ninja prowess to the max, even if she lost her humanity and kindness.

It is only when she is strained, physically and mentally, that the previous personalities try to retake control, turning Lilith erratic and unpredictable, but it is not for long, for Lilith is stronger than her other faces.
