Once again thank you for continuing this training ;-;

So, you said that we could do a "discussion" type of training, so here I go xd :

(Raiton: Jūrokuchū Shibari) – Lightning Release: Sixteen-Pillar Bind

Okay so basically what this technique does is use lightning chakra as a medium to shape earth into 6 pillars which would trap and damage the enemy.
All in all, I think it's a nice jutsu, but it requires some practice and creativity to pull it through, especially for the combo. The handseals are a con too, but being in long range doesn't really affect it that much. As you said, the best way to use it is in long range, since time is crucial in some situations.

(Raiton: Chidori Eiso) - Lightning Release Chidori Sharp Spear

Like it's brothers, this technique shows how far a talented ninja can "mess around" with shape manipulation, but that's all. This technique allows the user to simulate a katana by using his lightning chakra, and applying shape manipulation to extend and give it a solid feel. As described, it is made to cut swiftly through the target rather than piercing, but that doesn't mean it can't shock, paralyze or even pierce targets.

Alright, let's finish up the A-ranks!

I like Thunder Dragon Tornado, and it can be used as a simultaneous offensive AND defensive technique, even if it doesn't say so. What part of the jutsu am I talking about, and what would it be able to defend from?

Telegram Flash is basically the bursting of a large Lightning column from the ground up. Generic energy style attack, but it's fast! If you can distract your enemy by forcing them to defend from above or away from their feet, they'll have a much harder time trying to stop this attack.

Finally, Thunderbolt seems like a new jutsu that was added, and it works really well with Water techniques.

The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will grow to then shoot forward and cover the area in front of them. Description: After doing the Rabbit → Rat → Horse → Ram hand seals, the user will slam his hand on the ground and release into it a massive amounts of lightning chakra which will then pool beneath his opponent before releasing itself into a gigantic column of lightning which shocks anything caught above it. The technique can affect a bigger or smaller area depending on the users will.

Damage: 60
Description: The user extends both arms, releasing a high discharge through both palms, targeting multiple opponents simultaneously. It is possible to increase the power using this technique in combination with a water source. Working similarly to False Darkness, the held orbs split into several tendrils of lightning. If used against a target submerged in water, the strength increases +20.

All in all, a pretty good jutsu. I think using it in mid range would be the best. I find it pretty useful is some situations, considering it's ability to split from the vortex and discharge at nearby enemies. I'm not really sure about it's speed, but considering lighting is supposed to be pretty fast overall, it wouldn't really be a problem. Answering your question, the defensive part would be while forming the vortex around yourself. I can see it being pretty useful while engage in close combat, specifically taijutsu. Also, I can see it being pretty useful against techniques as The Rock armor and other variations that boost the defensive and offensive of their enemies.

I like this one. Seems to be pretty fast, and can be used in combinations with a bunch of other techniques. Like you said, getting your opponent distracted first and the using this one, is the best way to use it. Though I'd say the handseals are kind of a giveaway of what you're trying to do, but that doesn't really stop this from being a decent jutsu.

Okay so, idk how I feel about this one, but it seems to be highly dependent on the situation and terrain that you're fighting in. Not that it doesn't work without a water source, but I guess reaching it's maximum efficiency. And I can see it being avoid in most cases, due to the fact that you're hinting you're opponent what you're doing next when you raise your hands. Considering the above, in can be useful if there are multiple targets though.

(Raiton: Gian) - Lightning Style: False Darkness

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

This is a stronger version of the B-ranked Gian you learned earlier in this session. It's an epic, fast, easy, powerful, and awesome jutsu. Nothing much to say about it myself; if you want something done in a fashion similar to the adjectives I used in the previous sentence, the S-ranked Gian should always be in your consideration.
