"Well sensei," I began, "Firstly if I stayed channeling my raiton chakra into the shurikens then obviously that would give me a way to channel more chakra into the weapon giving it more power, thus electrocuting the target more thoroughly causing a greater amount of damage. But also I believe you would be able to retract the shurikens and use them again......assuming that you were channeling your chakra through a thin string of raiton." I concluded.

 

[Adachi]

"Perfect response," I acknowledged. "Basically put, if you continue channeling your chakra, they would be numbed from head to toe, unable to move as they are pinned to the wall or the ground."
Forming the Tiger handseal, this time, I create three clones before Elementalist, in short range. "This next one is quite creative. Simply put, hold out your hands like that Sith Lord Palpatine and then release from it quick discharges of purplish lightning, knocking away my clones while inflicting some serious damage."
I shrugged.
"If you've watched Star Wars, that is."

(Raiton: Shuriken Seigyo no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Shuriken Control Technique

Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. They will then throw them at their target to pin them down and maintain a connection with the shuriken through a electrical cable that delivers a numbing shock to paralyse the target and restrict their movements.
Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

"Silly sensei." I chuckled, "Of course I've seen star wars."
Raising my right hand, I begin to build up my lightning chakra into it and watch as purple-ish lightning springs to life across the palms.
Get it under control. I mentally scolded myself.
Once the flickers of lightning become barely noticible, I focus my right hand in the direction of one of your clones.
I think I'm too far. taking a few steps toward your clone I concentrate and then quickly release a bolt of purple lightning towards it and watch as it flies back and disappears in a large cloud of smoke.
This might be fun. I mused.
Using short, quick discharges, I release two more bolts in rapid succession, and the clones repeat the disappearing act of the first.

 

[Adachi]

Of course, that exhausting, yet ambitious smile always remained on Elementalist's face. Chuckling, I applauded his efforts, slightly reminded of a movie scene. All he needed was an evil cloak...
"Don't forget that this is short ranged," I noted. "It's fun, yet easy to use. Can handle tight situations quite well."
The next jutsu was a bit harder to describe so I reached within my cloak, drawing out a photograph:

"Remember the earliest basic jutsus?" I questioned. "Summon it up, but with such a concept like this in mind. Enforce it with your experience to make it more powerful."
Creating another clone, I motioned at it. "But you can also utilize this jutsu rather offensively. I'll leave it up to you for that."

Squinting slightly towards the picture I raise my eyebrows, surprised.
Why has sensei seen fit to draw a muscular smuf? shrugging I begin to get into a meditation position.
Think back. I told myself, Which jutsu would this remind me of?
After a few moments of my internal debate a lightbulb goes off in my head.
This is almost exactly like the lightning armor. I marvel.
I quickly located the chakra flow in my body and instead of focusing it into one specific point I force it out through my pores and at first it merely covers my skin.
First step completed. I told myself. Now just add more force.
It was awhile but using extreme mental focus I lift the armor of lightning completely from my body into the air around me in a spherical shape. But instead of lightning bolts just erupting around me, the chakra had a strange reaction with the air and it formed and almost plasma-like shield around me. I stand up and find that I can easily discharge a couple of lightning bolts while moving around with the sphere still active.
"Sensei....." I began as a mischievous smirk made its way onto my face. "I think I'm gonna have fun with this jutsu."

 

[Adachi]

"Of course," I responded equally. "But, keep in mind you can use nothing but Lightning and physical attacks in such a state."
I waved at the skies above. "Well, focus on that Lightning around you and then by using chakra manipulation, turn it into a ball that you direct upwards."
With another hand, I motioned at a certain vicinity before him. "It is vital that you control this jutsu, as it quite wild, but after forming it into an unsteady ball, simply release it and allow many lightning bolts to rain down on the battlefield around us."

( Raiton: Purazuma Bōru ) - Lightning Release: Plasma Ball

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow however the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

"Sure thing."
Closing my eyes I focus on the lightning surrounding me. Once I find that I have enough control over it, I force it into a more compacted shape, allowing it to shift and mold to my design using chakra manipulation. I continue to do this until I am literally hold a semi-large ball of lightning in my hands. I feel the lightning begin to react violently to being compacted so tightly and I quickly release it and watch as it shoots high into the air and disappears in the clouds. As soon as it makes contact Lightning bolts erupt forth and tear the ground up with each of its multiple strikes.

 

[Adachi]

The aftereffects weren't all that pleasant as I side stepped the quick bolts of lightning. "Don't forget the area that this covers," I instructed. "But for now, let's move on to something more fun!"
Motioning Elementalist over, I pointed a hand at a nearby rock. "Alright, ready for Chidori?" I questioned with a grin. "First start by concentrating quite the amount Raiton Chakra into your hand. Feed enough into the center of your hand...enough to become a crackling ball of energy. Then proceed to run as quick as you can to that rock next to you and slam your result upon it."
I took a few cautious steps back. "Have fun."

( Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain

Description: The user manipulates their lightning chakra condensing into a orb of chakra and then releasing it into mid air. The lightning orb will then remain in the air for several seconds releasing a continous rain of lightning bolts shocking any enemy within the radius of the attack.

As soon as the word chidori left his mouth I felt something inside me snap and the grin of a psychopath spread across my face.
"Kakashi Hatake's legendary technique.....hehe........lets see how much hell I can raise with this." I mused.
Crouching low, the grin became lazy as I went through the hand signs, Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey, and pointrf my open palm towards the ground away from me and channeled my Raiton chakra into the center of my hand. I frowned slightly as a small spark comes forth quickly, but my eyes widened as my entire hand a wrist was covered by a large eruption of lightning..............
"Hehehehehe....." I smirked as a small amount of fatigue set in from the amount of chakra the technique consumed.
I looked up and set my sights on the rock sensei indicated earlier.
Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp,
"The birds are quite talkative..........don't you think sensei?"
As soon as the last word left my mouth I shot forward like a bullet, never letting my eyes waver from the rock.
As soon as I got within range, I slammed my hand forward into the rock and marveled as the rock simply seemed to move aside and make way for my lighting covered hand.

 

[Adachi]

I found myself bringing up a hand to shield myself from the debris that flew wildly from the rock that Elementalist pierced. There was a satisfied grin upon his face as he gazed upon the very hand that had caused such distraction.
"Quite talkative indeed," I responded equally. "Now, the Chidori, much like the Rasengan, introduces a new type of concept." With a hand, I indicated the distance Elementalist was from the rock. "Note that you had to go into close range combat in order to strike your jutsu. Close range combat is vastly, vastly different from, say, if you were mid or long range from your opponent. What kind of dangers, yet advantages, do you think close range combat might provide?"

 

[Elementalist]

My apologies for not responding lately...I have had some real life issues as of late and they are only recently beginning to sort themselves out. If during my absence you have seen fit to drop me as a student then I completely understand, but if you are still willing to keep me on as a student, I am able to give you full explanations on what was going on in my life. thanks for reading this.....

"Well," I say after a long pause, "I assume that close range combat would allow you to get an easier reach on your opponent, you'd be able to effectively able to stay within your opponents 'personal space' making it harder for them to land serious hits on you, but, just as you become closer to your opponent, your opponent is closer to you. Close combat probably should not be attempted by those who are better than you at tai....but if you have an arsenal of close range jutsu, say that you are proficient at using the chidori and no longer need the use of handseals to execute the technique, then you would easily be able to land a direct hit on your target causing major damage..........." I concluded

 

[Adachi]

"Precisely what I was about to say," I replied, chuckling. "Sharp as ever. Taijutsu attacks are often times instantaneous and extremely powerful and surprising. Also, remember, with master of Chidori, you only need one handseal to utilize it."
I fumbled through the bag I had brought with me from the very start of the training session, taking out a large shuriken, handing it to Elementalist. "Now, proceed to take this huge Shuriken and charge your Chidori into it," I instructed. "Toss it at my clone. What do you think might happen if you continuously channel Lightning within it?"

(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds

Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
