I know I'm not. It feels rushed and everything's thrown in between, with half assed explanations and such. Take Kakashi's Susano'o for example. It isn't exactly an "asspull", the author might have some explanation, but having such a stabilized form of Susano'o without even mastering it makes it look like Kishimoto is rushing the plot. Some chapters have very slow plot movement, others have good plot movement, and some are way too rushed.

There are so many final candidates even this far in the series.
I wish Kishimoto expands on the past of the Uzumaki clan, more backstory of Kaguya, etc. And, I wish Kishimoto gives Kaguya more dialogues and such.

Despite this, I'm still addicted to the series, and want to see it end well.

PS , recent mysteries that i found ever so interesting were:

- Tobi's identity
- Hashirama vs Madara
- How the rikkudou sennin looked like
- The past, how shinobi were formed, and what was it like before shinobi.

No I don't see how anyone could be. There is no sense of danger, asspulls weekly and a boring FV.

Obito should not have died. And 4th hokage should have been made to look gid like all this time to then get nerfed.

thumbs side?

1. I would have preferred tobi to have remained tobi. no revealing, making him like the new red x from teen titans (i know the old red x was robin, till someone new stole the mask and costume)

it would be like this, tobi was this mysterious guy who sided with madara in the quest to make a world of peace and later betrayed him.etc we would have less obito rant threads and tobi would have been whoever you wanted him to be

2. i liked the madara vs hashirama scene, although i wanted to see the full fight between madara and the 5 kages,, we only saw the end result which is huge dislike from me,

3, I disliked that the juubi seemingly is a mindless tree being manipulated by kaguya, that's stupid.

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed with Kaguya, and after a certain length of time am starting to miss Madara and more or less disliked how he was defeated. All the same, Kaguya's entrance, backstory and unknown motives still seem interesting, along with Black Zetsu's revelations. We also still have the possible final fight between Naruto and Sasuke and the upcoming film and game.

I'm fine with it. I just wish they could make Kaguya less... unintelligent? (Trying not to be rude.) In my opinion, it feels as though she's only a weapon, controlled by the wielder, Black Zetsu.

As for Kakashi's susano'o, I don't know. At first, I guess I was just confused and slightly mad on why he had to have that power, but why not? So I calmed down after regaining my senses. Nothing else really bothered me too much.

Wait... so you think every manga chapter should have the same amount of plot development? I don't know of any shonen manga or serialized comic book that would be able to that.

As soon as Madara got removed it went downhill. It just feels lazy underwhelming and rushed. Sorry Kaguya fans, but Madara was the ultimate villain IMO.

If you told me three or four years ago that the final villain was going to be a "Rabbit Goddess" from another dimension whose goal is to make an army of White Zetsus for [fill in the blank], I would have thrown the closest projectile-able object I could find at your face, and probably fart in your general direction.

That said, there are some aspects I like and some I don't. I like that he's trying to tie in his themes of redemption, teamwork, and yin-yang equilibrium. I like how Sasuke is still mysterious, and we still don't quite understand him. Other "bad" guys have kind of just turned good in a heartbeat after a good Talk no Jutsu, but Sasuke is a bit more complex.

I don't like Kaguya, or whatever the hell she plans on doing. I couldn't care less about some inter-dimensional war, or any other dimension for that matter. I stopped caring about the Juubi/bijuus because the story has changed so many damn times. Kaguya is now the juubi? Or something? Kishi is confusing the hell out of the plot, meaning he has been purposefully misleading us as an unreliable narrator.

And then there's just that, the whole mess of misinformation, and the odd pacing. I've been waiting to hear more on Hagoromo/Hamura for months now, but instead it's just been all this rushed action like you said. I know he's trying to build up the mystery of Kaguya, but at this point it's been long enough, and I still don't know why I should care about this *****.

im hoping for uzumaki clan info along with kaguya. fingers crossed. i like kaguya, she just doesnt have a attachment to anything besides chakra nom nom. we need a personal connection to her.

People are still butthurt about Kakashi's Susanoo and their FV not having dialogue. Get over it. You want a logical progression for Kakashi's Susanoo in the middle of the biggest fight in the NV? Just get out. The only way Kakashi is even relevant in this fight is with PS, there is no room in the plot for him to have an incomplete Susanoo and have to learn on the run.

So you're saying that, as a writer, once you've constructed a plot and established rules, but you change your mind about what a character should be able to do, you should just go ahead and do it? Just write on the fly, as you go? Kishi chose to nerf Kakashi, both by giving everyone else DBZ powers and by taking out his Sharingan.

He had plenty of options to fix Kakashi's nerfing, and first and foremost it would have been simpler to just have Obito physically hand him his eyes. You think double-kamui wouldn't have been enough to keep him relevant? We never even saw what an individual with that power would be able to do, but just imagine pre-reveal Obito being twice as powerful. He was already a huge threat before.

What probably happened is that the editors were pressing Kishi to make Kakashi relevant again faster. He probably had plans to do it, but more slowly. Kakashi is one of the most popular characters, consistently polling in the top 5, so fans pressured the editors who pressured Kishi, so he was like, "alright, ****ing fine, you want to see Kakashi strong. ****ing here. Now shut up."

But to say, "oh well we don't have time for character development, we should be having big bada-boom explosions right now!!!11!1" is absurd, and just an excuse for lazy writing. If you really think that that's acceptable, then you'd be happy if he suddenly wrote Sakura as being a transmigrant of, oh idk, Mito Uzumaki or some shit like that (a previously unknown daughter of Kaguya? Why not, plot is just putty at this point) just so that she'd have massive chakra all of a sudden.

I respect you, Floydical, you're one of the more well-spoken members on here, but I can't agree with you excusing lazy writing. I'm not saying Kishi is alone, this happens from time to time with every author. But as of late, there seems to have been an increase of frequency of asspulls. Ahem, Minato sage mode, anyone?

As you said, Kakashi is a popular character while Sakura is not, so I doubt anything like that will happen. I agree with you that what happened here was most likely Kishi being pushed by his editors, but I'm getting downright sick of people complaining about it. Do I like Kakashi with Susanoo? No, the sight of it makes me nauseous, but again we are talking about relevance here. Kishi took away an ever increasing number of power-ups basically telling us that they were no longer relevant. Remember Obito (Tobi at the time) not using Rinnegan? Everyone thought it was crazy he didn't use it and Gai and Kakashi concluded he wasn't using it because they already had methods of countering it. Kakashi and Gai at that time counter God Realm? Hell no, Kishi was basically telling us at that point that those abilities were no longer relevant so he basically took them away.

Now is no different. Kishi basically told us that Obito's Kamui served no greater purpose than to save Sasuke. Does it make sense? No. Did Obito not using Rinnegan vs. Kakashi and Gai where no Suanoo user was around make sense? No. What I'm saying is that it seems in Kishi's eyes he was taking Kamui away for a reason. He's basically telling us its no longer relevant in the fight, but PS is. Again does it make great sense? No. Do I disagree that its lazy writing? No. I do feel, however, that Kishi was right to make Kakashi more relevant (although this might be considered extreme) and I'm sick of people complaining about it. Basically I'm not happy with it but I accept it.

I am happy with it. I have my reasons to like it too, without obliviously saying I do. I concur with most of what Floydical wrote; exempt for the fact I believe it made perfect sense, albeit not as obvious to others. It needed to be done regardless for the story to cohesively progress without interruption.
