If you have read chapter 598 then you know Tobi's gets headshot by Naruto's rasengan.

The idea that I have is, do you think the rasengan may have caused Tobi to lose an eye or just his mask?

His head should explode. Look at Minato vs Tobi the ground around them smashed with the impact, so surely Narutos rasengan in Kurama mode should f**k that shit up.
