Sure Naruto's attack was epic, but the reason Sasuke is getting so much praise this chapter is because, After so many OP mega exploding jutsu featured throughout this war, Kishi returned to something familiar:

A Susanoo feat that didn't involve mountain destroying exploding attacks but kenjutsu at it's strongest. And a lot of us are all for tiajutsu/kenjutsu.

Thank you. This is what I have been amazed at since the chapter came out. Sasuke is completely dwarfed by the meteors yet my niqqa is making sharp, precise cuts in the meteors. Just look how many slices Sasuke has cut into it, it was just 2 or 4 slices. His swordsmanship has gotten superb and amazing, I think it can be argued he had the best Kenjutsu as of now thanks to that feat. You know how good a swordsman you have to be for you shockwaves to have precise cuts when you're that outclassed in size?!

That's talent man, f***in talent.

Make that 7-8 slashes for each rock. I was surprised by that.

Well good point. The smaller cuts may be the actual sword cuts where the split down the middle is from the shockwave. Either way it managed to impress me which, if you know anything about me, is saying something .

Step off the rocks makes it easier for him to go in the direction of the rocks. Plus using a stepping stone makes him even faster. We couldn't even see the wings when it jumped off the ground. How do you think it reach those CT's in the 1st place?

Alas he only jumped on 1 rock. Don't get ahead of yourself.

Until I see some mid air maneuvering and him actually flying without some sort of help from the environment, I think he's just using susanoo to jump really high, maybe you're getting ahead of yourself.

Fair enough. But we haven't seen susanoo since Madara used it to escape Gaara's sand sealing jutsu. and that was a brief moment of it. Frankly Naruto's Rasenshuriken is getting old. It's all he is using. Sure adding the different bijuu abilities to it is fine and dandy but redundant. Why not use some of his OTHER Rasengan varients in tangent with the bijuu power. Or the black orbs that have been hanging on his back but he has yet to use. We all know they are not there for just show. He has aother and more importantly NEW weapons and abilities at his disposal. Give us some variety.

Sasuke has been mixing it up this fight. Now I am not a Naruto or Sasuke fanboy but I am liking Sasuke's style of fighting more than Naruto's at least at the moment. Maybe Naruto will change it up maybe use those staffs of his more in the future. But as it stands Sasuke's Susanoo is a breath of fresh air to the repeating Rasenshuriken.

Whatever dude, it had to jump off rocks to get to madara. And he was complaining about them being in his way yet he made no attempt to go around them. Sorry to crush your wet dream but Sasuke looks like he can't really fly. And madara's susanoo also had wing like appendages. If anything right now they're just there for decoration.

Theres another page where you can see them more clearly, the hands don't look natural because the formed at the end of the wings. They also have the same texture as the feathers on Sasuke's.
