Thoughts on Naruto's "Prophecy""

The Prophecy says that Naruto will fight someone "who's power rests in his eyes" or "who depends on their eyes" or something like that. A lot of people assumed that this implied that Naruto would face Sasuke, who has and uses the Sharingan.

But I believe more and more now that Naruto will not fight Sasuke. Instead, his opponent will be tobi/masked man/Madara Uchiha. The reason for this is that Tobi completely relies on his eyes, Sasuke does not. Yes, sasuke spams MS, but he is not completely dependent on his sharingan, ulike Tobi who thus far has not used any physical ninjutsu, such as chidori for example. All his powers lie in either the sharingan in his right eye, or the rinnegan in his left. Even the Gedo Mazo, is technically a rinnegan-exclusive summon. The only thing that is not obviously related to his eyes is his ability to become permeable. But we don't the secret of how he becomes intangible, and it might turn out to be related to an eye technique...

Wrong. It's Sasuke he always spams his Sharingan abilities, he wants to show his Uchiha pride and strength. Tobi just becomes solid and dodges.

I've always wondered that, too. I believe it's Sasuke, though. He was summoned there right after he got done talking to Sasuke, so....

the reason why i still think the prophecy is referring to sasuke is because the toad sage said that he will be facing a young man with great power in his eyes.

but you have to think at the end of all this sasuke has to become a good guy to the point where all these people like the raikage wont want his head i mean he is an outlaw and was part of the akaski ( spelled tht wrong) so he has to do somethin EPIC to get back out tht Wanted book so i think he is gonna fight with naruto not against its too much going on for them to fight each other even plot jutsu plays a role in this

I said I believed it would be Tobi. But I know for a fact that it's the Ramen Guy
