Thoughts on Kakashi becoming Hokage?

According to the latest movie spoilers, Kakashi is officially the 6th Hokage.(Tsunade presumably stepped down/retired) What are your thoughts on this latest revelation? Do you think KIshi was right to do this, or if it wasn't a good move?

Remember how relived he was when Tsunade woke up from a coma because then he didn't have to be hokage anymore after pain arc? That says a lot. Noodles should be hokage

On serious note yes I agree. Had obito not strayed from his path then he would've become hokage but he screwed up so the torch falls to his best friend. He's well respected and seems like the leader type. It would be a shame to not see naruto become hokage by the end of the movie but who cares, he has almost all that's required of him to become hokage. All he needs to do is mature a bit more (with time) and the hokage spot is guaranteed.

Its a good move, no one in the village has better leadership qualities than kakashi since the latter got dignified by hagoromo.
Kakashi can teach naruto all that stuff about being hokage that has nothing to do with strength and protection.

I think Kakashi deserves to be hokage. He's mature enough to make the right decisions. Naruto does too, but maybe when he's older, and experienced life a bit more.

Definitely. Once Naruto is more mature, Kakashi can step down. It's what Obito wanted too.

Like my brother said, it seems to work the best when you assign a person who is reluctant to be Hokage but is said to be Hokage material by others. At this rate, Shikamaru might be next.

In all seriousness, Kakashi was almost promoted, said to be Hokage material etc a few times. So no surprise here. It's also somewhat similar to FMA's ending when they chose a new Fuhrer.

Hokage wont really mean much anymore since there is world peace.
Naruto/Sasuke gonna solo that byakugan guy in the movie, so "kages" dont really mean much. Naruto/Sasuke are the peacekeepers in the NV.

Kakashi was considered a genius when he was young. He was one of the youngest academy graduates and that was before he got the sharingan. He was the first and youngest member of his team to become a chunin and a jounin. He is good with strategy and I think he will make a good hokage until Naruto or Sasuke is ready.
