Thoughts on Danzo?

hes obviously an authoritarian type person and has played a part in a lot of the tragic stories of a few characters, which makes him a giant heartless douche, but I like his darkness oriented attitude. I find amoral characters to be the most interesting in manga not to mention his jutsu arsenal (mainly the wind style techniques and the cursed seal) were pretty cool too. what do you guys think?

Very very well written character.

I disagree with his view entirely though, but so would most. He takes inspiration and acts on things that will benefit himself using "the greater good" as an excuse.

I think he was very well written too like with the rivalry with hiruzen, the only thing I didn't like about him was losing to sasuke, and spamming izanagi when it seemed like he had more than enough skill to end that fight quickly. ****ing plot

For me I hated him with a passion but respected him for his views.

He could've used more time in the lead. He wasn't the peace lover that Hiruzen was. He was a tough old bastard who lived for a shinobi world that filled with conflict.

My least favorite character, but admittedly he is the king of villains in this manga up there with Orochimaru for me.

He is the worst type of enemy to have and probably had the most chance at being a successful villain. Everything was a careful plan and evil as hell, but his moves were all chess plays. If he wanted you dead, he would figure out the strategy to do so in secret. Or he would take "the rules" and justify insane things such as Genocide toward you. All while having the authority of Konoha behind him.

He's the scariest villain in this manga by far, he can either take you by surprise with manipulation, betrayal, and secrecy, or through politics/skewed moral compass, he could kill you within "his authority." I'm kind of sad that he had such a short term role, but jeez that is one bad dude and I think I might have been uncomfortable with him as the big bad. Just because he's thatevil.

He's not a good villain and he holds back a lot of the fighting.

When Pain invaded, he ordered Root to stay underground and let the village be destroyed.

Danzo can go to hell... go to hell and die.
