I am very pro-guns so tell me if I'm wrong. If there were some armed citizens in the theater they could have stopped him and saved most casualties. The only reason this case is special is because he was in bulletproof armor. Restricting our 2nd amendment only puts citizens in danger but the criminals will always obtain guns illegally.

Then and now picture of the shooter. What struck me is his eyes, he looks brainwashed in the later shot, just empty.

I've been inside a jail(no im not a criminal) and studied the prison system and its effects. I don't agree with either the American prison or mental home system. They mess you up for life. In Norway they literally send mass murderers to rehab and they get much better results. Now people disagree with this,why? Because we want criminals to suffer, we want revenge. But does revenge solve anything? NOPE.

And there are plenty of killers in prison. The only difference is they don't have a natural mental disorder that caused them to do it.

the massacre was tragic... i just don't understand what would posses someone to do something so sick... i watched the movie and throughout all the action scenes i was imagining was the victims going through that... it changed my perspective of the movie....but it was still epic

There's something that intrigues me...regardless if he was mentally stable or not; why ppl shoot like that? I've the feeling I've seen a fair amount of news like this...
When there's a shooting in northern states of MExico I know exactly why it happened, but when I hear that someone just woke up and went to Batman's premiere to shoot ppl I get intrigued.
