Thoughts about the direction of this week's chapter

I wrote this elsewhere, but nobody seems to be paying much mind. After I put it down it just seemed so... fitting. I wanted to get some other people's opinions. Here:

I'm willing to bet Suigetsu has something related to how to control or stop the Edo Tensei. It'd make things a lot more interesting. Itachi and Sasuke might kill Kabuto regardless of the fact that it won't stop the Edo - he might end up in the same gourd with Orochimaru, which would be fitting. At the very least, it would probably set the others free of Kabuto's control. I could see Itachi saying something about "I believe in Naruto... and you Sasuke," poking Sasuke in the forehead then disappearing in a bunch of dust, having completed his objective to protect Konoha and having seen his brother one last time.

It would also explain why Dan is still hanging around. If he were free of control, he could rush to the battlefield just in time to see Tsunade die, then float off in a dust mote, again having his soul fulfilled. More likely than not, Naruto will show up just in time for both of them to compare him to Tsunade's brother, and make him the Hokage, passing on their dreams to him. (I mean honestly! If Naruto's going to become Hokage, could there be a better way?)

That leaves Sasuke and Naruto to face off and then deal with Madara and Tobi. Sasuke might try to control Madara, or Naruto might just show up and squish him. I'm not sure exactly how the final meeting between those two will go. Either way, Madara will go down before Tobi. I could see Madara smiling as he dies, saying something about how "It was good to be able to fight with somebody strong again... He reminded me of you..." [insert picture of Hashirama smiling] Cut to dust.

but even if kabuto is killed the edo tensei will not sieze to exist, and i don't see madara going down any time soon, i think only naruto and sasuke's teamwork will be able to put him to sleep, but i think that his last thoughts - as you stated will be true

He can still go down if he gets his "fulfillment" or whatever the heck it is. Right now he seems the most disappointed in how weak everybody is, but once Naruto gets there, maybe it'll prove to him that there are still strong ninja in the world or something.

Naruto loves to change people's minds, and swaying THE Madara would be a pretty big "get" for him. If Sasuke joins in and fights with Naruto against Madara, you have the spitting image of Hashirama vs. Madara there. I could see Madara dissolving with some sort of flashback into his past along those lines.

Suigetsu doesnt even know that edo's are summoned right now right?

If it is edo, than sasuke reviving the uchiha clan would be awesome.

I found it weird how an important scroll is just laying there for anyone to find, even though it was behind a wall.

Some way to use hashirama or juugo their dna on sasuke for more power/rinnegan etc, feels more plausible but who knows.


About the direction of weeks chapter:

Tsunade will show another surprise that she has in store.

Kabuto will use his anti sharingan tools (just as he has mokuton suppressing powers).
Kabuto already showed how he isnt afraid of the sharingan, but he said he couldnt beat the rinnegan right there (as in when tobi confronted him with keeping anko alive and told him to explain edo).

A bit drama between the uchiha bro's and than some ending that makes you want to build a time machine to go to next week xD.

it wont be easy to beat kabuto.
The Bro's cant just kill kabuto, because than they cant cancel edo.
Susanoo totsuka sword is probably a bad idea as well if you want to cancel edo.
Kabuto has most likely anti sharingan tools.

I think there'll be a shocker, though. They don't have to get rid of Edo completely. Remember most of the people fighting don't want to be there. If taking Kabuto out releases them from their orders, that'd still be a big step forward. We've seen lots of fights where people disappeared on their own (Sai's friend, Hanzo... I think there was one more...) so there's a way to make them go away even if they don't use Kabuto's way. Every technique has a weakness. Madara's the only one that seems to be fighting without being controlled.

So what would "fulfill" Madara's spirit? I think that seeing Sasuke and Naruto fighting together would do it. Maybe even fighting against each other. Either way, they're both super strong, and they would certainly remind Madara of himself and Hashirama. From the way Madara is always praising Hashirama, it seems like he really had some sort of weird affection for him. I'm willing to bet that would do it.

Plus, I feel like Kabuto has to die so that Dan can get to Tsunade. Otherwise why on earth is he still here? It's the only way I see him being able to move of his own free will. That'd lead up to a good exit for him and Tsunade, plus give Naruto the Hokage.

I think we're getting seriously close to the end of this manga...
