Hi guys, i've been reading forum lately and thought to share some things that are bothering me before kishi give us an explanation, and my view of kamui and its awakening
excuse me if my english is bad, it wasnt my primar language in school
I found rather strange how kamui is not so known technique in narutoverse. i mean, not just itachi and other uchiha but some non-uchiha characters are well aware of many MS techniques so it did raise a question that if people have knowledge about even izanagi/izanami than why are kamui and its powers exception?
first of all, i think we can guess that uchiha eyes are connected in a way that MS will activate in both eyes, even if they are seperated and not in the same body. Right now i can come up with 2 possibilites - either Kamui awakening has something to do with Rin's death( and i hope not cuz it would be pulled out of blue) or maybe Kakashi actually awakened Kamui the day Obito "died" but just didnt activate it till time-skip.
All we know is that some kind of emotional stress or loss of a person dear to you can activate MS but it hasnt be said that MS has to be activated at that very moment someone dies, even if u gain it. Kakashi didnt know a damn thing about MS as a child, not untill his fight with Itachi. So once he gained the knowledge, he also learned he could activate it
If u ask me, having both kamui eyes/abilites just screams: overpowered! The reason why Kamui is special si maybe cuz the eyes were seperated whe MS activated. Eyes remained connected by sharing a dimension, even if physically being in different bodys. I think it would aslo be a nice touch if Kamui can exist only when not in the same user because if I were tobi, I would just pluck Kakashi's other eye while he's sleeping
This could maybe explain why is kamui so rare cuz of its messed up activation
If it comes to tobi being obito (still hoping not real obito) it could be one of explanations how obito escaped. Kakashi awakened MS in both eyes but obito just slipped to kamui dimension cuz the eye he got was the one with the ability to become transparent
And regarding the timeline situation, theres has been a talk about how tobi can move so fast from one direction to another. if the time in kamui goes faster, it would mean that one minute in real world - 1 hour in kamui (example) - and thats why he can move so fast and also age more quickly (still not rooting for any aging explanations from kishi)
