We were standing on the bank of the river..
Do you remember??
The way you hold my hand,
As soft as dry sand,
Do you remember??
The way we looked in each other’s eyes,
Those eyes….
The eyes full of dreams,
Like those glorious beams,
Thy god offered to us,
Those eyes…
The eyes which search for the glimpse of love,
From the deep within and still above,
As soft as your heart,
And as tough as bullock cart,
Those eyes…
One day you won’t be there,
Still I will wait for you there,
Hearing the silent cries,
Coming for your eyes….
