There has been a lot of debate lately whether....
Edo Hashirama > Edo Madara or
Edo Madara > Edo Hashirama

I think the following facts can make a huge difference this time during Hashirama and Madara's fight -
1. Madara has got Rinnegan....
2. Madara has got The Jubbi....
3. Madara has got Hashirama's cells....
4. Madara was reincarnated with abilities more than in his prime....

And

Hello....!!!!

5.The name of the series is Naruto not Hashirama.... :p :p

Sry for the last one.... but the first four are obvious facts and give Madara great advantage over Hashirama....

I am myself a Hashirama fan but I guess this time around Madara has more chance of winning against Hashirama....

Your mistake is thinking that gives Madara an advantage in the first place xd

Madara + juubi (if you consider this his power, its technically obito's) stomps

Madara w/o juubi would win vs hashi, but many people on this base dont seem to think so, as ive gotten into some pretty heated agruments about it lol U_U

Its obvious that Madara is going to defeat Hashirama this time around. It would be VERY stupid to revive 2 legends in the current era just to have all the main characters witness history literally repeat itself. Madara was given more power than when he fought Hashirama. That alone puts him at an advantage. But I also see this as just another clever plot point from Kishi to have Hashirama be defeated by Madara, and have Naruto (and possibly Sasuke) step up to the plate and take down Madara just to show one more that Naruto has surpassed the Hokage'

madara is stronger even without the juubi...and i think juubi shouldn't be included among madara's abilities...it kinda makes the comparison unfair...but what if hashirama has the ability to manipulate HIS CELLS inside Madara?? Then that would exclude madara's mokuton ability which leaves him with EMS and Rinnegan...so overall it will be a close battle but the odds are with Madara..

If you consider PLOT then it is possible for naruto to be the one to take down madara(which reaaly would be lame) however technically if there is anyone who can beat Madara then that person has to be Hashirama. Their battle at the Valley of End clearly shows how powerful both these guys are...these are legends who cannot be surpassed...

It doesn't matter what Madara has now. We don't know the difference in power back when they were alive. It could be possible that after all of Madara's power ups he only just closed the gap.

Isn't that what history does though? Repeat itself.

This...

Kishi hasn't revealed much, if anything, about the power gap back in their days. We don't know how close they were. Apart from that victory is also a matter of many things and not just power especially when looking at opponents like Madara and Hashirama who are at the top of their game. Attitude, strategy, persistence and whatnot could influence the final outcome.
