This site needs a Shoutbox

Well if that's the case, then what about a separate site for the chat box? It would definitely reduce the need of sharing FB accounts or Skypes or YMs.

Of course, there should be a quota on how much you can type in the shoutbox and how frequently.

You can always use my irc network if you want to chat in groups about non-Naruto things.

Like I said, some people do not have the internet connection available to make irc, msn, and skype. And mod problem? Just make some more, it's not a gaping hole.

Also, some people don't like sharing personal info over the internet. You may find loopholes or nitpick against these arguments, but in general this works.

There should be a difference between a forum and online chats/social site ect...

I may have have been for the idea of a shoutbox like 2-3 years ago but not now. There are too many members, completely uncontrollable for mods and mostly too much noobs.
