nuff is nuff will i be able to see a new variant of jutsu from naruto... He knows only one offensive jutsu.... The RASENGAN and from that he make giant rasengan, massive rasengan, planetary rasengan, rasenshuriken maan kishimoto this is boring to see a jutsu's sub jutsu everytime....
I'd like to see him master wind element, be more effective with chakra arms...use the black orbs and master his twin staffs thats enough versatility for me.
Kinda doubt Naruto will get an important new technique this late in the game... But then again, he can use Omnyouden as was seen last chapter. So I mean he's got some cool weapon manipulation now.
I love the Rasengan and the variants that have been developed. It's Naruto's technique, something he has made his own and it's just a defining characteristic for him at this point.
But I also agree, I'd like to see more. It gets boring to see the same move time after time again.
Its similar to how Goku in DBZ has different kinds of Kamehameha waves, or how Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho has different kinds of spirit gun. It just sucks that this is the only attack Naruto has.

The reason why naruto is using rasengan variants is actually quite simple & makes sense when you think about it.
A rasengan by itself is an incomplete jutsu, minato created it based on a bijuudama in an attempt to add nature manipulation with it to "complete" it.
Naruto perfected the jutsu & created an S-rank jutsu by just adding simple fuuton to it.
Now naruto has all the bijuu's chakra/KKGs, therefore instead of just adding fuuton to it he's completing the rasengan & variants with the bijuu's chakra, thus creating some of the most powerful attacks in history.
Basically a rasengan is the best attack you can make with shape manipulation, the only thing you can do to make it better is to add a nature release to it, which is what naruto is now doing with ease.

Draphsin hit the nail on the head, Rasengan is essentially the perfect jutsu since it has so many combinations, uses, and upgrades that can be added to it. I would only add 2 things.

Plus, every character has their signature moves. Sasuke, after his Sage upgrade, fell back to Chidori after Susano'o/Enton spamming for quite a while, Kakashi with Kamui/Raikir, Minato with FTG, S/T, and Rasengan, etc. Goku with his Kamehameha/Spirit Bomb, Yusuke with Spirit Gun, etc. All these characters have lots more techniques at their disposal, but they stick with what works and proves to be most effective. It only makes sense that way, after all. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and all that.
