I can guarantee that if next week is all about Minato, Kishi will be lauded as a genius.

So fickle.

@Namikaze Haru: You make a great point. I think any story as large as Naruto by nature of it's size runs the risk of growing too big for it's britches. So much going on sometimes it's real easy to lose focus with so many sub-plots and minor character development.

I think the story makes perfect sense. kishi is cleaning the old baggage to set the stage for the final showdown - when Hokage Naruto faces Sasuke. I expect another time skip, so they confront each other as adults.

Hm. Well call me crazy, but i think it makes perfect sense. I'd have to say all 3, Madara, Obito and the ten tails are the main antagonists right now. Obito and Kakashi are off settling things. And I don't think he just randomly took Kakashi to another dimension. I believe his main reason for doing it was so that Kakashi wouldn't be able to try and warp the ten tails to another dimension like he was trying to do. As for Madara, I highly doubt he's abandoned his plan. He can't really do much with the ten tails anyway, since for 1 he lost control of it. So likely if he tried to get in its way, it would just attack him too. And I'm sure he doesn't want to harm it, if he could anyway. He's probably not worried about protecting it because so far its been handling itself pretty fair. And if i remember right the plan was for Madara to be the jinchuriki of the ten tails i believe. So in order for that to happen i think he has to be fully revived with rinne tensei which only Obito can do. The ten tails still hasn't reached its final form yet, so it still isn't at full power. Perhaps for now the hokage are able to contain it, but when it reaches its full power, i seriously doubt that barrier will do much to stop it. And I don't see what's wrong with sakura having a power boost. I think she should be entitled to some special upgrade just as much as most of the other characters have. But I do agree that Orochimaru is up to something. I wouldn't put it pass him.

well....people the who are looking for Oro, i think Oro is supposed to be somewhere away from the battle as he is the one controlling the edos ....same as kabuto controlled them from afar... had Oro been there and if Madara didnt have such a hard on to fight Hashi i imagine Madara could have wiped the edo's out, he knew how to make himself stay so why not know how to make the others go?

I always believe that Orochimaru was the main villain in the whole plot, I mean, he's practically in everything, for some reason other villails appear and right on cue we discover that Oro had something to do with them one way or another. OTL
