I think its because he's younger and hadn't fully developed yet. As for the claw being in her, i mean in real life...technically if you're impaled by your stomach and the object isnt removed you might still ive. meaning as long as you dont lose a lot of blood, you will last few minutes or seconds depending on how fatal the wound is. Not to relate this to real life, but it was simply plot.

He can regenerate regardless of the yang seal, one of kurama's specialty is self heal actually. This was displayed majorly with the fight with sasuke in aprt 1.

And during that that was the only time he healed a wound that big if he could still do it then he wouldn't need a zetsu arm. When he had the yang seal he could regenerate as seen when he healed kakashi's eye. Throughout this war Naruto was never self healing

Not really the biggest would he healed from was Sasuke's chidori to his shoulder after that he never healed anything that big again. He can heal from non fatal wounds yes like being stabbed by Sasuke's sword. But he always healed from small wounds. But he can not regenerate. Sasuke got stabbed by knives and seemed fine afterwords. Its still regenerating lol

White zetsu's cell accelerates healing due to black zetsu modifying their dna to replicate hashirama's, you can read it on narutopedia actually. Reason why madara was able to heal the stab wound was because he had zetsu/hashirama's sage/dna. Pain did hit vital points, pain purposely hit those points to hinder naruto's movements. Anything that can be tampered with to hinder your movement anyhow is a vital point. Cutting a string of muscle in anyone's body can affect that part of the body which the muscle might be connected to.

Also naruto didnt necesarily die, he was unconscious after the extraction of the beast. here bro
