I beg to differ in a few things:
First, people DO die in this war. Or has everyone forgotten about Neji so quickly?
Second, "The Edo Hokages, The 5 Kages, Team 7, The K11, Orochimaru with Hebi and The Entire Alliance" sounds like a force to be reckoned with, doesn't it? I mean, just to het this straight, you are saying that Kakashi is powerful enough to make a difference should they end up on the losing side? Unless he manages to kill off Obito and use Kamui, he doesn't really offer all that much.
Third, and in this point I agree in that Kakashi won't die, is Plot no Jutsu. Unless he has an extremely heroic death, like Jiraya did, I don't think he will die. He is just too important to the plot right now, and everything about Obito becoming evil is probably just a big misunderstanding anyway, the kind that you usually see in this kind of anime.
Fourth, remember that Naruto and Sasuke (and apparently Sakura, would you look at that) have already surpassed their teacher. If Kakashi died, it would be a good way to "pass the baton" on to a new generation.
It's a real shame. I truly expected something like "Kakashi won't die because he and Obito have not met with Minato-sensei", which would have been an interesting, well documented, fact-based prediction, and instead I came up with... well... I explained myself above, it is just the points that you use to back yourself up that I disagree with.
