I see the termination of the African Black Rhino as ecologically damning, but also an opportunity for some Migration Bottlenecking to take place. This obviously shifts the niches around a bit, but this also gives way for some Evolutionary adaptations hundreds of years down the line.

Also Wikipedia is kicking us when we're down by saying "African Black Rhino does not exist." :O

With this species terminated, there will be less predation around, which means more consumers placing heavier strain on the producers. Hopefully this is balanced before the savannahs get any worse.

Of course not. They also died due to predation. But. They still had their population under control. With poaching, their population could not reproduce fast enough to keep up with the demand of the poachers, and they no longer have a legacy in nature because of it.

When people tear down trees to make new department stores,etc people protest all the time it's bad for the environment and all of these building being placed on the earth's surface actually makes certain places more prone to earthquakes.
