Pre-gated gai, meaning base moved from point A to B in one sec witch we can assume was at least 2000ft away from were he and the others was another example would be lee in part one removing leg weights then gates moving so fast appearing to be teleporting to an aided eye...... this is running speed no ChEnh or JUTSU needed to preform this.
this feat was whilst in 7gates. he moved fatser then what minato had with sage mode and kunai hirishin, simply cause the speed wasnt exactly instant like minatos but too fast to react to cause the distance was already closed..like u running into a wall youll hit it. but if u teleport there, you are just as you were so theres a delay to doing anything else, maybe a sec befor you yourself realized u even moved..this is why gais reaction speed and movements are above other speedsters cause as u see in the bottom left corner just as he moved to madara the strike was in place. not like the fourths(aye lighting streight)witch is still a delay cause of jolt moving like sasuke and shisui as well.. there speed can save them from anything but its not the battle speed gai puts on here
this scan shows gai landing hits and createing after images like lee did in part one with hidden lotus..."rapid movement" gai was hitting just as fast as he was moving. this is a real "blitz" the movements seemed inhuman to all, yet a superior only has the speed and ability to dodge most the hits. 7Gates was only shown moveing in manga once anime none and so farr it outspeed minatos speed for as "combat speed" goes..
this feat speaks for itself 8 gates.. its so fast this scan shows him moving to the air in one sec weres madara couldnt move, still this is leg speed. he was on the ground on this scan and jumepd to the air fast

last ill just show 6 gated speed for these dummys who think its equal to kakashi lol. this scan showes 6 gated gai doin the same feat 8 gated gai did. but on kisame he was on the ground scan befor this

gai and lees speed in dead battle shits on sasuke minato naruto and ohers cause its stricly for battle and normal body movements and there stamina is unmatched . w/o bijuu or blood limit. btw people underrate lees speed how can many dodge hidden lotus. ther speed and power is the reason kishi had only them on a mission when pein attacked for plot and character underplaying....
