This is the worst "Gaming Generation" ever

I only play story mode games and single player. Thats all that interests me. Online is just annoying

I guess I am not the only one. I find Multiplayer Online games quite annoying. I am a Solo gamer through and through.

what are you talking about? I think this is the best gaming generation ever. Maybe for you personally it sucks because it supposidly ruined your one favorite games but there is so many different games now for so many different genres you cannot possibly say this gaming generation sucks. Today, this generation of gamers is the worst. I don't know if it has something to do with games being more social, or what. But, it is not how It used to be.

Back in the day, let's say a game like street fighter, people picked their characters, and did what they had to win. games took skill. You wanna pull off a long combo marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2? that took skill. Shooting games too skill, it wasn a bunch of over powered guns and auto aim. You actually had to aim and shoot.

Now, all todays games have been dumbed down for the dumb kids. Everything. From fighting games to shooting and racing games. They destroyed marvel vs Capcom. look at it, its a disgrace to marvel and Capcom. they dumbed it down. Halo 4, dumbed it down. EVERYTHING IS DUMBED DOWN!!


WHY??? Because all these kids do is complain, complain, complain. Name one day of online where you actually had fun playing with randoms that didn't moan and complain?? I can't think of too many. Now a days, everyone wants people to do easy stuff. Oh don't use that gun, don't use that team, its too OP. LIKE SERIOUSLY!! Too OP?? Freaking pathetic, anyone who complains about a strategy being OP is not a real gamer. Anyone who cant take a lose, is not a real gamer.
What happen to the friendly competition days, where we all said GG, and that was fun, he is a tough player. Not, oh he is cheap, blah blah blah. Pathetic.

Explain to me, why do I have to pick a weak team or gun or slow car??? to give YOU a chance to win? seriously? that's not what gaming is. You have all destroyed the true meaning of gaming and made it into something dead. Millions play games, but only thousands are true gamers.

I'm assuming you are a gamer yourself. Here's the thing, a gamer, at least from my standing point, is a person who is playing games indiscriminately. You can't call a 12 year old kid who only plays COD a gamer. If the point you're trying to make is that "gamers" these days tend to ***** a lot online, then I both agree and disagree.

People tend to forget that they would, at one point during their playthrough of a game, get frustrated. If you're going to tell me you never clenched your teeth during an intense battle you've lost at Street Fighter or after dying a hundred times in one of those difficult boss fights, then you sir, are lying. We all cussed out our button mashing friends, we all took breaks from the game to chill out and moan to our family and friends about how hard that one boss battle is.

Nowadays, the whole moaning thing got a lot more obvious due to the access to online games, and multiplayer mods. There are the obvious mictards that cuss out everyone and are obviously 13 year old brats. It's true that you may find more educated "gamers" amongst the older generations, but we're all essentially the same thing at the core.
