It is something irreplaceable to a Shinobi. It is the one thing that Shinobi absolutely need in order to perform any kind of Jutsu, but that is not it's true all there is to Chakra. The true Nature of Chakra is that it connects people. It connects people Spiritually and Physically, it is something that is meant to help people understand one another. "Regular Chakra is something every Shinobi possesses, it is a mixture of Physical and Spiritual energy."

"Senjutsu is a type of chakra that requires one to have large chakra reserves, as well as great Chakra control. This is so because Senjutsu Chakra is made from not only Spiritual and Physical energy, but Natural energy as well, meaning that user has to balance three aspects of Chakra all at once."

"And finally, Bijuu chakra is something that only Tailed Beasts and their Jinchuriki posses. Because Tailed Beasts are living forms of Chakra, they can never be fully destroyed, but merely sealed. The Biju Chakra posses two sides to it, Yin and Yang. Yang side give the Jinchuriki an ability to heal at much faster rate than a normal Shinobi would, and in some cases, if the Yang chakra is dominant, it is capable of breathing life into things such as Wood Release. Yin side of it on the other hand, is something that is used to create something out of nothing. For example, Genjutsu."

Pure chakra is a chakra without any Elemental affinity, one of the examples of how it is used is a regular Rasengan.
It consists of Physical and Spiritual energy.

Elemental Chakra is Chakra that has an Elemental Affinity. There are 5 basic affinities, Wind, Fire, Lightning, Earth, Water.
There are thousands of examples of it, such as FireBall Jutsu, Chidori, Water Dragon, Swamp of Underworld etc...

Nature Manipulation is an ability to change the affinity of your Chakra. Generally, each Ninja has a high affinity to one of the elements mentioned above, however there are some Ninja such as Yamato and Mei that have high affinity to more than one Element. It should be noted that in the RP context, one is capable of mastering all of the affinities, regardless of his/her main affinity.

Illusionary arts, Genjutsu, is a form of Ninjutsu in which the user sends out his or her own chakra into the chakra flow inside the opponents brain. By controlling his own chakra, user can disrupt the flow of chakra in the opponent, and change it to whatever he desires. The result being that opponents 5 senses are affected. Vision, Hearing, Smell, Touch, and even Taste can be controlled through Genjutsu. Of course, the higher ranked the Genjutsu technique is, the harder it is to break out of it. Not only that, but higher ranked Genjutsu techniques are capable of affecting multiple senses at once.

Genjutsu is an art of deception, an art of psychological warfare. If one is capable of changing his opponents perception of the world at a critical moment, the result could very well be death.
"I hope that I am taught how to defend from Genjutsu as well, not only how to use it" Asuma says politely, "It can be a truly deadly art if used by the right person"

There are a few ways for one to realize they are in Genjutsu.
First, if one is a Sensory ninja, he can sense the disruption of his own chakra, and the flow of opponents chakra inside his body.
Sharingan and Byakugan users can simply see through Genjutsu, regular sharingan being capable of seeing through a Genjutsu as powerful as Tsukuyomi.
And finally, the most commonly used way is that one notices things that do not make sense. For example, if a fireball is coming towards you, but you do not feel heat.
If the ground is rising up, but you do not feel it shaking.
It is those irregularities that allow one to realize they are in Genjutsu.

There are a few ways to break out of a Genjutsu.
Once the Genjutsu was used on you, you would have to stop your own chakra flow, and then disrupt the opponent's chakra flow inside of your body by surging your chakra. This technique is called Kai. It can be used by yourself or by another person on you.
Another way to break out of a Genjutsu is by causing pain to your own body via self inflicted injury. The stronger the Genjutsu you are in is, the larger the injury has to be, with S rank Genjutsu needing pain equivalent of that of breaking an arm.
Jinchuuriki are immune to Genjutsu as well, because their Biju is capable of using their own chakra in order to stop the opponents flow of chakra.

Genjutsu layering is when one uses multiple Genjutsu techniques on an opponent. The techniques can be of same or different rank, however if they are of different rank, the opponent has to break through the higher ranked technique in order to free himself from the layering effect.

Nice work, but one correction though. Byakugan can see through genjutsu. Its an ability on exclusive to Sharingan. However with Byakugan, you can easily detect your chakra is being disturbed thus knowing you are in a genjutsu.

Now I want you to start kneading your chakra into your core then slowly spread them throughout your tenketsus

Asuma begins to gather chakra in his core. An all familiar sensation overcomes him as he does that, one he is used to feeling more and more as his training continues. He then proceeds by channeling that chakra throughout his body, starting with Tenketsus close to his core, and slowly extending to ones that are further away. Slowly and deliberately, Asuma channels his chakra throughout every single Tenketsu point. He feels the chakra flowing throughout his body, he feels its movement.

Now force your chakra into my clone's chakra network allowing you to manipulate his sense of sight. Make him see the terrain differently. Eg. Make him the the terrain change to another one.

Asuma closes his eyes, he feels the chakra inside his body, he feels the way it moves, the way it circulates throughout his body.
He opens his eyes and then sends a part of his chakra towards the clone of his Sensei. As his chakra enters inside, he can feel the difference between the two chakra flows. 'I should of have known... His chakra flow is not the same as mine'
Asuma realizes that the small amount of chakra he sent will not be enough to alter a chakra flow of an opponent, so he decides to send a slightly larger amount of Chakra.

As his chakra enters the opponents body, Asuma begins to concentrate on his own chakra, that is resisting the regular flow of chakra inside his opponents body. He then instinctively starts to move his own chakra towards his opponents eyes. As his own chakra concentrates inside his opponents eyes, Asuma no longer merely uses his chakra to resist the flow of Opponents chakra, he forcefully uses it to alter the very flow inside his opponents eyes, giving him a degree of control over what his opponent will be able to see.

Asuma closes his eyes once again, visualising ground underneath him opening, Earth falling apart under his feet. With a strong image in his mind, he controls the chakra in his opponents eyes to produce a same image. As he does so, his opponents begins to see the same image, to him it appears as if though the very ground is falling apart.
Asuma quickly remembers something, but it is already to late..
' If I had altered his sensation to make him think the ground is shaking, and produced sound at the same time, it would of have been more believable... Damn...'
