It is strange that Ishida is the only Quincy besides Juha Bach to "borrow" or "steal" someone elses power/reishi without the need of a sigil. All other Quincy's borrow power from their reishi filled surroundings. But up to what we know it makes sense now that he can do it since Juha chose him as his successor.
