Powers: the same as manga
Strategy wise: The seal should keep failing until Kaguya is weakend enough. Bringing Team seven theme was stupid idea and sensless. Kaguya was supposed to be global threat. Exactly Kishi would make Hagoromo stop IT while Naruto and Sasuke would barerly hold their own getting beat down from kaguya and being in death like situation few times at least, it would give us a thrill which this manga once had.
Later, Naruto and Sasuke would get upper hand against Kaguya who can not absorb any chakra from IT. After weakening her to max they would seal her. At first it would fail so Kaguya got mad and unleash Giant Juubidama planing to sacrifice dimenssion to get rid of them, it would make readers worried about Naruto and Sasuke. Then Kishi would power up Kakashi and add Sakura to end Kaguya...
Battle wise: She should fight the same as she thought, except bring either some flashy techniques or show more KKG/KKT. She should aslo get TSB from the begining or much eariler then she got in cannon.
She should NOT be bothered to seperate them.
Character wise: Kaguya should be the one speaking so all BZ speeches should be her speeches as Black Zetsu should be absorbed the moment she got revived.
Backstory: We should give bacstory of her previous life before eating forbidden fruit or at least explanation about Castle in each dimenssion. The dimenssions purpouse, Zetsu's army purpouse. It would make readers care about her or understand her motive at least.
Just reading my own thought-out idea's make me feel pain how much Kishi wasted her potential and reader's time. Not even mentioning how much Manga lost on it.
Why Kishi, why ? You should hand it to someone who put heart into this manga and revive it to it's glory.
I hope some day you may rewritte last part of Madara's Return arc or at least bring Kaguya back in movie showing her full potential and treating her as you should.
