Any-one else watched it.

i personally didn't like it and found it weird that it got 8.9/10 on Imdb WTF.

it ain't that good 7.3/10 is more accurate.

It was decent. I thought there was a few flaws. The beginning lagged a bit. The concept and science around it was interesting. I think they could have fit in a few more things if they cut out some part that lagged the storyline. As always though, Hollywood wants to make you go in for part 2.

The movie was amazing (which most christopher nolan movies are), and visually stunning. I think they did a great job explaining black holes, worm holes, gravity's effect on space-time, and the transcension theory (which talks about what happend to the human race after the singularity).

Overall one of the greatest films of 2014
9/10

It was a really good movie for me (since I love space exploration), I'll admit, the beginning was very slow, in fact it bored me for a bit. But it really kicks off, had me glued to my seat.

agree with this. most people that didnt like it simply didnt get the science behind it. it was pretty original and fresh. it was also perfect for the big screen. that high volume and those visuals in contrast to the scientifically accurate silent outside spaceship moments.... ill never forget that docking scene.

It's not possible!!
No....it's necessary.
This is no time for caution Cooper!

I saw this movie when it came out, so I don't remember it clearly, but maybe some bright guy/girl around here can enlighten me:

If I remember correctly the Tesseract was built by the humans from the future in order for the main dude (Cooper or something) to save the humanity and blah blah blah...

My question is, how did the future humans first survive to make the Tesseract, given that it wouldn't have been one in the first place to save them ?

So, what am I missing ?

thats the time travel paradox. whenever there is time travel there is this problem....

Pfft, I thought that shit was outdated. To think they'd come up with something new, silly me.

lol you cant just come up with something new. as soon as there is time travel involved there will be the time travel paradoxes. theres no way around it. though in interstellar it wasnt exactely time travel, but rather traveling trhough the present at different speeds. the only time travelling thing there was was cooper sending messages to his daughter through that dimensional thingy, which the future humans did build...based on the data he was able to send them from his journey through the black hole...

I couldn't care less, I don't want logical explanations, otherwise I would watch some Stephen Hawking. I want some crazy, imaginative and rainbow-esque ideas, haha...

actually nolan was intending to build in some faster than the speed of light stuff in this, but the two physicists he had arranged in order to make his movie physically correct didnt approve. he wanted his movie to be as scientifically accurate as possible....
